58 S 32nd St, Camp Hill“A lot of cool gift ideas for children and adults alike. From card games to board games, puzzles and gag gifts; I always try to drop by here and see what new stuff shows up every now and again.”
“I can't say enough positive things about Cupboard Maker Books; it embodies everything a bookstore should be. Their extensive collection is a treasure trove, I particularly love their date night books and local authors section. The staff is both knowledgeable and fun to chat with, and the building itself is uniquely charming.Their passion for books is equaled only by their love for cats. If the books don't draw you back, the resident cats—Mouse, Odin, and Annika—certainly will. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a bookstore!”
“Beautiful book store across the street from Broad Street market. The selection is incredible, they even have signed copies for purchase. They hold different events and have a small cafe onsite serving different tea blends.”
“Fabulous new and used books. Authors also come to visit to speak and sign their books and answer questions. A treasure of small business in our neighborhood. Support our great local businesses!”
“Heart and Soul Bookstore is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a peaceful escape from the outside world. The shelves are filled with carefully curated books, and the staff is always happy to help you find the perfect read. The ambiance is warm, with comfy chairs and soft lighting that invites you to stay and browse for hours. Whether you're a casual reader or a book lover, the vibe in this store is just incredible. Heart and Soul is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again!”
“The paperback exchange is a great place to find gently used trade fiction paperbacks. There is a great selection of mystery, Sci fi/fantasy and romance. Not much in the way of nonfiction, but that's okay, the place has tons of light reading.”
“Quaint little used book store off Rte 15 in Dillsburg featuring narrow aisles crammed with all sorts of books imaginable. The place is run by a pleasant and helpful lady who astonishingly seems to know where everything is located! We bought some books and will definitely revisit to see what else can be discovered. Well worth a visit, if you're into first editions, undiscovered authors, etc.”

3501 Paxton St, Harrisburg“I ordered 4 books. They were less than 10 dollars each and they were in great condition. When checking out the people were friendly and said "Have a nice day!" when I left. I would totally recommend this store!Update: (Jun 9th 2024):The great escape mall the store is connected to closed so the store is probably shut down as well”

10 S Market St, Mechanicsburg“Found the store on a tip through a Facebook post in an unrelated group and couldn’t have been more pleased. Stopped in for one book and ended up with four.Jim, the shop owner, is a subject matter expert on both local and national history of the war. The local in particular you won’t learn about down the road in Gettysburg. I know a good amount about the Civil War and I learned a lot while in Jim’s shop. Take the time to learn and listen and it will be a worthwhile experience. The shop is less than 20 minutes from Gettysburg, if you don’t make the trip you’re doing yourself a disservice.”
“Very nice selection of books, magazines and maps. Here I bought a couple maps, and then checked what I had paid for similar maps online, and found that BAM is cheaper than Amazon.”
“This little gem of a used bookstore can be found inside the delightful West Shore Farmer's Market. You might think at first that there isn't much to see, but when approaching the store inside the market, you come to discover that what exists in the hallway is only the outside of the Bookworm Bookstore. There's so much to see inside, with all kinds of book genres all well-organized and easy to search. The staff was incredibly friendly and approached me twice to ask if there was something they could help me find. They knew where everything was and knew sometimes even before they'd look what was on the shelves and what wasn't (or what just sold a couple of days/weeks ago). Very insightful and their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable.Highly recommend for the used book lover!”
“Thank you for the message, sometimes some situations don't make us angry and we speak without thinking, for those who don't do anything, and we really don't want to offend. But thousands of people abuse others, without knowing the situation of how they are and whether we have a roof or not or another kind of problem and that is where human beings get lost, also because of others. Thank you and have a nice afternoon.”
“Never been to one before. I was honestly so fascinated to see all the books they had. They even had a lego and calico critter area. I was able to get "The Only Good Indians" by Stephen Graham Jones. Pretty pleased!”
