My husband and I had a bad experience at Freehling Lumber several years ago. We saw an ad in the paper flyer that came to us for a pencil Christmas tree. Of course they did not have the advertised tree in stock. They did, however have lots of more expensive trees in stock. Bait and switch? This happened on a few other occasions at this store. The most egregious problem with Freehling Lumber, though, is the mean and condescending attitude toward teachers by the owner, Becky Boyd. She probably does not understand that people who own businesses should not use their position as a bully pulpit in their stores or in their communities. I will not shop at Freehling Lumber ever again, and I will encourage my friends and family to stay away as well. Weatherman True Value, Lowe's or Home Depot will get my business.

The owner can get you anything you need, she's great. Organized store, lots of options- quality lumber.
