I do not recommend this veterinarian clinic. Not only did they misdiagnosed two of my dogs a couple years back, they misdiagnosed a friend of mine's dog recently, and recommended she put the dog down. She got a second opinion, and come to find out the issue was something very simple and the dog turned out to be just fine. The fact that she almost put her dog down because another dog was misdiagnosed at this clinic is a disgrace.

Thank you for the response, I understand about being short staffed, my point was that you shouldn't be listed as an emergency vet, emergency services don't turn people away or only run on appointments. Also I wasn't swearing or yelling at your employee for them to hang up on me

Not answering their phone at all now. I called last week to get my pets medication refilled and was told that I would have to go through the ER (and pay ER fees) to get a refill on my cats flea drops. They said they don't know when they will reopen for "regular" visits. I actually liked the vets here, but they wouldn't let me inside all last year, despite my cat having been severely abused at another vet clinic (the one one Evans City Road). I believe they are using COVID as an excuse to gouge money and not have to deal with the owners. I also agree with other posters that some of the staff are really rude (makes me wonder how they treat my cat if I am not in the room).

This vet is remarkably overpriced and I have never interacted with anyone there who wasn't rude and discourteous. Do yourself a favor and take your furry friends to Grove City for treatment instead. The low cost of their treatment will far offset the cost of the trip.

We recently used BVA for an unscheduled emergency operation on our Great Dane. They were able to schedule her for surgery the same day as we called. They have a very caring staff and perform post-surgery follow-up in a very thorough manner. The cost of the operation and follow-up up visits was very reasonable. We will likely use them as our regular vet going forward due to the manner in which they treated our dog in this emergency situation.

We were in need of a Veterinary office that was open after 9:00 PM to see a very sick cat. We had an appointment with our Vet for the following day, but we were worried she might not make it through the night. Thankfully Butler Veterinary Associates could see us at 10:30 PM, even though we were never there with our pets before this night. We live in an area where the closest after hours offices are all about 1 1/2 hours away. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We were not prepared to say our final goodbyes to our Sadie Mae that night, so she was given fluids and some meds that gave us a couple more days to come to say proper goodbyes. For us it was well worth the trip and the price, but I can't speak for everyone. But from past experiences with other Emergency clinics this visit was no more expensive than anywhere else, actually probably less expensive and the care was excellent.

We used them on emergencies of a previous cat and dog and they are caring when they're collecting good money. When I called with a simple question of "my 60 pound handicapped 1 year dog we adopted, got 2 doses of Flea/Tick and Heartworm pills for up to 50 pounds is there an issue? Because we hadn't had him there being a new pet, they'd see him for a hefty fee and would likely call poison control passing that additional fee on to me. Or I could call poison control and pay them $75 as that would be cheaper, but I may have to bring in anyway. So I called poison control the woman that answered was very nice and explained he should be fine, maybe mild symptoms and didn't charge anything for our 2 minute call. She did take my name in case we had to call back. Bottom line, Butler vet practice is out for the almighty dollar. I know if our regular vet who hasn't seen him yet either we're open on Saturday they would have answered over the phone as well

This place is discriminatory and would not let me in the building despite my agreement to wear a mask because I tried to reschedule my appointment because i told them I had some stomach discomfort. They informed me they could not reschedule for several weeks due to being booked up, so I said I'd keep the appointment. They offered to see my puppy alone while refusing to let me in, however I have a nine week old puppy and I wanted to be there to assure him everything was going to be okay, instead of handing him to some strange person who was gonna jail needles into him. I spoke to the office manager who agreed that I could come in if they took my temp. I agreed. She called me back 20 mins later after letting me sit in my car 20 mins past my appointment time and told me the vet would not allow me in. Take your money elsewhere! This place is a joke!

Horrible manager, rude & dismissive. We have 14 dogs & she told us to go elsewhere & didn't want our business. I wish Dr. Berry would start her own practice. She is a wonderful vet. They are expensive as well, and I will never go there again.

They provide medical care and kenneling for my 2 large breed dogs. I love Dr Wilson and Dr Berry. The kennel staff has been great with my dogs.
