Our regular detailer retired so we've been looking for someone new. Sunny’s, owned by John Haines, was recommended to us by my husband’s coworker. John was very pleasant and, when we picked our vehicle up, took the time to explain why he was unable to get our hubcaps completely clean. Though our vehicle was cleaner than when we took it in, it was not as clean as we expected it to be. For instance, there were dirty finger prints on the inside handle of the driver's door, and dirty scuff marks on the door jam, neither of which were there previously. Also, there were black fibers in the wells of the belt latches in the back seat. There is plenty of room in these areas to get even a wide sweeper nozzle in, so there was really no reason for anything to be left there. There were also paper scraps under the passenger front seat, the passenger side window had a nickel-sized dollop of dried white material in the upper corner that had partially run down along the side of the window (John cleaned this when we pointed it out), and a pull-out storage compartment on the driver's side was swept but now smudged and dirty looking inside. The steering wheel was so slick it felt greasy (my husband wiped it down with Dawn when we got home to cut through the greasy feel). The leather seats were the same way though we haven't done anything to correct this and we slide forward every time we brake. This morning, I discovered that the windshield was badly smeared so we're going to have to re-clean that ourselves too. On the outside, there were still leaves in the crevice around the rear window. The part that earned the low stars though, was the smell! Neither my husband nor I smoke but my vehicle now reeks of cigarette smoke! Even the nauseatingly strong pine-scented air freshener John placed in the vehicle couldn't cover the stench! I’ve had the car sitting open in the sun since 8 a.m. hoping the odor will dissipate but I went out at 2 p.m. and it still stinks. Hopefully after some more nice days or trips with the windows open and an air filter change, this will not be so noticeable but for now, it is very noticeable and very disappointing.

Poor service, bad review. I'm disgusted with the lack of customer service follow up . I did business with Sonny for years having my SUV detailed semi-annually. I had one issue with Sonny. He forgot my sun roof. I called him back, took it in and he cleaned it. Plus he washed my entire SUV again ... no charge. I didn't ask him to do that. But, he said that he didn't have a car in and had the time.

I just picked up my car from Sonny's and John Haines and his staff did the complete once over for me, he went the extra mile and I did not ask him to do everything that he done, his work is outstanding and reasonable, he is incredible I am so happy with my clean and spotless car I highly recommend John to anyone that needs their car detailed, thanks again John

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this business. I took my car in which had normal wear and dirt, was by no means a large mess, and while it came back cleaner than when it went in, it was nowhere near the level I expected for the price of a small sedan. Certain areas such as the gas well, air vents, and seat sides seemed untouched and pine sap was left on the exterior. My father had to go through and clean it further upon getting it home and all of these minor details were taken care of in half an hour or less. They had my car for 7 hours and did work that seemed like it could have been finished in 3 or 4. Would not recommend this shop for detailing.

the only reason for the one star was because you had to select one. my parents car came back from him in worse condition then went into him. They have a 2015 Camry and by no means is it dirty they are a retired couple that toke a leap on Bob and was high disappointed. He said there is no way to get the sears looking new and to remove grime from the cup holders or to keep windows from smearing... REALLY.... well I will be filing a dispute to bank, as well as report to BBB and also contact my attorney. Seems like a small thing to be angry about, but how many other people has he done this to???
