This branch never answers the phone. Never. So you have to drive the whole way in, but when you do, every single person you speak with there is rude and completely disinterested in helping you. They actively think of ways and make up "rules" to come up with fake reasons to not help you, including the manager of the branch. This branch is an embarrassment to Butler and to PNC. Avoid at all costs.

Why don't they ever answer the phone at moraine point plaza? I've been a member of PNC since they bought national City every time I call this branch no one ever answers the phone. Then I hang up and call Clearview PNC and they answer the phone within a few seconds.

After being disconnected twice and calling main PNC Bank regarding an “Action Needed” letter on an account. Still no help 10AM with Sam now 10:40AM on hold with Charlene (she said 1-3 minute wait). 10:45AM this representative gets back on line telling me she can’t transfer me. Explained that I was transferred before and calling me Mister Jeffrey is not how to address me. Finally 11:00AM I called got through (3rd time ) to Charlene (at branch); explained in detail all I wanted is to comply with PNC requirements. She scheduled so we will see what happens next?Well Butler branch (Charlene) took care of us today so I am increasing my rating to acceptable.

This PNC is garbage. They closed my account without telling me first, when I had a direct deposit active. Now they wont open a new one for me. I am infuriated. Dont choose pnc.

This bank and all butler locations are horrible for banking. I gave my mother a Check for 1900 dollars that was not handwritten but made out to me. I signed it over to her. She wanted to deposit it. NOT CASH but deposit and wait as long as needed for it to clear ahe also had more than 1900 in her account and also her savings.they then stamped the check for deposit only and told her they cant deposit unless im there . So I return to a bank with a deposit slip from her account and the check for 1900 dollars. Now they say I have to open an account and deposit myself. I reply that's fine its probably cheaper than pay pal I'm currently using. They than look at each other and say I don't know if anyone can assist you with that and tell its not likely I will use thr account and I will have fees added to the account. I don't understand why they are not allowing me to so what they said was needing done. Now I have a useless piece of paper that says 1900 dollars. And no other banks will cash it because they stamped it.

Staff is super rude. You wouldn't think depositing a days pay through the drive-thru would be a big deal. Apparently it is. We're talking less than $300 dollars here. But multiple times tellers have rudely said that large deposits need to be made inside. Call the bank and they don't actually have a policy in place limiting deposit amounts for drive-thru. So the tellers apparently just make up their own depending on how lazy they are feeling that day.

Someone claiming to be Marie a PNC Bank Employee at the Moraine Pointe branch called our home at 3:35 pm in the afternoon. Why does a local branch employee call you unannounced when you never contacted the bank. I requested they never call again and send any concerns they have documented in written correspondence. PNC bank is known for fraudulent and scams depleting customer accounts.

I have been a Pnc customer for nearly 20 years and was quite happy. Today i went in with my wife so she could open a new account and was questioned if we had an appointment and never even asked if we were customers. The receptionist checked and a banker was available and we were directed to use a QR code to create an appointment without any offers for assistwnce or any work around for people unfamiliar with these.If your bank is this selective on new accounts and there are this many steps just to get an account it gives the perception the bank is very difficult to deal with. Banks that are difficult to deal with also have extra hidden fees that drain accounts. pnc has never been like this. Youre covid esque protocols are putting more barriers between you and customers
