My car failed an oil consumption test and they’ve failed to return my daily phone calls. It’s been weeks since they said they would call me . It’s Absolutely ridiculous , the service department is terrible.

Constantly no room to park especially when dropping off for service!!! Also, service writers don't answer phone or return calls when I have left message.

I got a brand new 2023 Kia Sorento in March, 2023. The purchasing process was pretty easy and as pleasant as you can expect something as unpleasant as buying a car to be.
In July, 2023, my radio stopped working completely. I made a service appointment and took the car in in August 2023. I was told that the entire head unit needed to be replaced and that they were on back order with no expected ETA. I mostly took my car back to Kelly for service, but got 1-2 oil changes elsewhere. I checked every time I took the car in for service to see that the status was of the head unit arriving.
In Spring, 2024, maybe April, I took the car in for service and I was advised that the order was no longer in there but that they would put the order in again.
In August-September I called several times and left voicemails which were not returned.
On September 20, I spoke with Jordan and explained the whole circumstance to her. She seemed sympathetic and like she really wanted to help me figure out my problem. She stated that the head units were no longer on back order and that she would talk to someone in service about getting it ordered and that she would call me back.
It’s now September 26, and I haven’t received a call back.
I will happily update my review once this issue gets taken care of, but for now, my review is that the service department at Kia has completely dropped the ball and that I’ve gone over year in a brand new car with no radio. There is no excuse for ignoring voicemails and not calling customers back.
Edited to add… called again on 9/27/24 looking for the service manager that comments on all of the posts on this google thread. They weren’t available. I requested a call back and haven’t received one yet.

My experience was not good at all. The day of buying my new Seltos was confusing with miscommunication among staff. When I arrived at the agreed upon time to pick up my new vehicle it was not ready. I waited 2 1/2 hours with no feedback and was given no instruction on how to operate anything in my new Seltos.

I received a recall notice from KiA for my 2024 Telluride for a fire hazard, when I called Kelly KIA to schedule an appointment for the problem to be fixed, they said they weren't taking customers for the recall, I called Shorkey KIA and it was scheduled immediately. It is a 45 minute drive for me to have my vehicle fixed when I was 10 minutes from Kelly KIA. This isn't the first negative experience I've had with Kelly KIA, this is also the reason I purchased my Telluride elsewhere, very poor customer service.

spoke with them regarding buying a vehicle after totaling mine. Was bounced from person to person with days on end with no contact. Reached out again with a question approximately a week ago and still no response.

Buying a new veichle was easy until you have problems with it called multiple times to reach service would not call back had to go through multiple hoops to get in-touch with someone got ahold of service to tell my issues didnt really care to listen to my issues had my car for 3 days just to say there was nothing wrong with mean while it still acts thanks to your not so great service team we wont be back
