This is an excellent place to work! I work with preschool age children at the Butler Center and am really impressed with the program. It is very professional and the supervisors are personable. They take time to reward us on many occasions. The staff is friendly and children are great! The learning activities and toys are very well organized and in good shape. I left for family reasons and decided to come back because it is the best job with children I've ever experienced. They also keep it clean and adhere to Covid protocols. The Human Resource staff are wonderful to work with too!

Hi, my name is Margaret and I would like to let people know that Lifesteps offers careers that have advancement, opportunity, and a great purpose for working with the IDD/MH population. Lifesteps is a great company that I have had the privilege to work at for 15+ years and I can honestly say I have had such a great experience serving others with special needs. Not only is Lifesteps a wonderful company to work for, they also offer great pay and a package deal other companies don’t offer. I have been honored to work with such great staff and the IDD/MH population. You can too.

Lifesteps organization has truly been a blessing in my life. When I started at the agency the organization truly showed how they cared about their staff by having yearly in-service meetings celebrating their success as new staff down to tenured staff. They also have encouraged me to develop as a Supervisor with leadership training. Lifesteps has paid 100 percent of my benefit package for nine years and that's been so helpful with my Healthcare. This organization is like a family to me. I deeply LOVE being apart of this incredible organization.

Lifesteps is a great company with amazing people. The lifesteps team works together to make sure that their individuals are well taken care of, safe and happy. It is a great place to work with a family filled atmosphere and calm environment. I left lifesteps for 6 months and found myself missing the work, my individuals and my co workers. It is a life changing opportunity that will allow you to help others accomplish their goals and everyday tasks.

Teamwork is crucial in the workplace and Lifesteps makes an effort to provide an open company culture. The company has given me room to grow and succeed, as well as continuous opportunity. During my employment at Lifesteps I have felt like a valuable member of the team and plan to keep contributing to the Lifesteps community mission.

Completely unprofessional. I turned in an application in July for my son to start the school year in Sept. I didnt get a call back about my app untill 4 days before the first day of school!!!! My child has an IEP from a previous school, I sumbited it with the app and NO ONE READ IT!! The teacher he was assigned to actually told me 3 days after the start day that she had no clue he had an IEP. To add a cherry on top, my sons birthday wasnt even included on the classroom calender. So now my childs birthday isnt as importand as other childrens in the class?? Thats how they made me feel! My child is no longer attending here. This place is TERRIBLE AND ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I will never recommend this place to anyone. If I could give zero stars I would!!
