The people here are rude and always have an attitude when you ask them simple questions. Service is very slow as well. I understand the need for accuracy in this field. However, service is much slower than any other notary I've been too. A title transfer shouldn't take 45 minutes.

PARENTS:

Do NOT take your toddlers there. I had to wait nearly 2 hours, seats were all full, which is fine... busy day for a business is good. However when it was our turn, Darrin asked us to get our license out and the paperwork we needed, as we were doing so my husband had our toddler on his chest/belly and leaned up against the counter top to get his I formation out. Darrin I Stanly freaked and said "Get your damn child off the counter top". She weighs 30 pounds, her up against it would not have broken a thing, and she is potty trained and would not release on his precious counter. My husband said where we should put her and his reply was "On the floor where she belongs. If you can't control your child don't bring her here"... mind you she is 3 and sat patiently nearly 2 hours and was not even throwing a fit she had no negative behaviors or anything and yet Darrin was a jerk for what reason? He told my husband lose the attitude or I will gladly lose the business.... let me tell you if our situation was not as complicated as it was we DEFINITELY would have gone elsewhere. PARENTS PLEASE DO NOT PUNISH YOUR CHILDREN BY HIS NEGATIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEM. THEY DESERVE BETTER... Darrin.. you need to find what makes you happy because sitting behind plexiglass with a hidden small ripped up old "sign" about children where no one can see not even a God damn eagle could see it, is not happy for anyone. Maybe retire and leave Butler.

The staff Darrin was slow as can be. Normally I'd be fine with it but after my toddler waited for 2 hrs it was finely our time. Put her on the cabinet to pull out my wallet and the guy snapped on me. Terrible service, slow, rude. Go to another notary in butler.

Campbell’s Notary is listed to close at 6pm on the day this happened. It was 5:34 when I called from the Sheetz in front of Clearview Mall which is under 3 minutes away from the notary. The gentleman on the phone confirmed that we could come and to a title transfer. When we got there the buyers were standing in the notary, as I walked in and handed the guy the title I told him that “my wife’s name is on it and that she was still on her way….” The gentleman literally threw the title back across the counter at me making me catch it before it landed on the wet floor, and shouted “We’re done here!” He would not even let me finish my sentence of “My wife is on her way..IN THE THE DOOR FROM YOUR PARKING LOT.”
***Let me note, that this was the younger gentleman, not the older gentleman who I believe owns the notary.****
I have never in 33 years of business had a more rude, impolite ,and unprofessional experience.
I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. Take time, find a different notary… even drive 30 minutes out of your way but give someone else time and money.

A lot of comments being rude, but they're really just time efficient. If you don't have what you need on hand, you might get some clap back. Bring your insurance, driver's license, and a check or cash. They'll have you out ASAP. Transferred several vehicles here and never saw them as rude.

If you want to be ridiculed and treated with disrespect this is the place to go. The one individual working there really needs to understand customer service or just common people skills. I will not go there for any future needs.
