Visited the Butler, PA office to get my mom fitted for glasses. The woman who helped us named Rachel was so patient and amazing. While talking to her, I decided that I would make an appointment to get an eye exam since I hadn’t had one in over 20 years. They had an opening and got me in within 5 minutes. I ended up getting 2 pair of glasses and my mother got 2 pair as well. The entire staff was absolutely fantastic and I will continue to make the hour drive to go back to this location. Thank you so much for everything!

Do not buy glasses or go to the America's best in Butler, Pennsylvania. I had a really bad experience with their customer service skills. They were very ignorant to me since day one so I asked for a refund on my glasses and the manager Sandy there said that she was gonna call the cops when I went into the store if I ever came back and I did nothing wrong. And I also contacted corporate which were sticking up for the store. Please do not buy glasses from this place go elsewhere.

Working with Sandy was so pleasant - it was if we had been long time friends. She explained all the steps she was taking to work out the best price, which was, surprisingly, a really good deal!☺️

Rachel is a very caring and helpful. She greeted me as soon as she saw me and complimented me on the glasses I was trying on. She was easy to talk to. I was nervous coming to a new eye doctors. Previously I was going to Dittman eye care since I was 18 years old. So when I was told I had to find a new place I was upset. You all were very welcoming and I am so pleased I chose America Best!!

I used to go to vision works because this spot in butler wasn’t open until this year. Since I had a bad experience with vision works last year I just wanted to try a new place. I’m glad I chose americas best. A decent amount of glasses to choose from and felt very professional there!! I got to have sandy the general manager help me out. She was kind enough to let me pay for glasses next week because of my own expenses and savings! Very nice people and a good selection and the wait time was smooth! (: glad I discovered this eye place.

I went today for an eye exam I was looking for a new place to go. It is super easy to schedule online and complete all your paperwork before you go. The check in process was simple, the technician was the best ever! I met with the doctor, had my exam, also one of the best ever! Super patient and kind!Now the bad... I have two different insurances. One from my full time employment and one from my part time....pretty simple one would think.During my visit all of the employees made reference to the district manager being in the store.After the exam I picked out two pairs of frames. Again, two insurances, two pairs. I pay for insurance so why not use it! The woman helping me check out was super helpful during the first transaction. They had to be separate because of the two transactions... that makes sense. At the end of the first transaction, she apologized but said she had to leave she had an appointment to go to. This is where it went from best experience ever, to I will absolutely never return.Another employee came over, who then requested another employee they didn't know how to check the insurance. So what took maybe 15 minutes total for the entire first transaction (which included the exam being billed to the insurance) took about 45 minutes for the second transaction.I was then told I would owe $25. I simply inquired why. They didn't seem to know what they were doing so I thought it was fair to inquire. They said it was for a co-pay. Now the first person, told me that my policy didn't have a co-pay.I asked for the manager, Sandy, who was the absolute worst. She deserves this post to have 0 stars. She was rude, stand offish and condescending. Unfortunately before all of this happened, the district manager had left. I asked Sandy for his contact information as I thought he would like to know what had happened. She yells across the entire room I am sure you will call him.... I did try to call, Sandy gave me the WRONG number for him. I went back and asked for the correct one, which the second time she did provide.I spoke to DeWayne the district manager who was a very nice guy. Apologized for the entire situation. Asked if I would consider one of their other locations, specifically Cranberry as the General Manager there is great. I told him I would think about it. I know for sure I will never again consider the Butler location. Sandy was the worst member of a management team I have ever experienced. As a customer I believe I have the right to ask questions when I am simply trying to understand. If her attitude is what is representative of this company I highly advise to go anywhere else before this location. Which as a whole is very unfortunate because as I said everyone else at the location seems top notch.I had the first transaction void, billed the exam through my insurance and I will get my prescription elsewhere.

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes shortly after getting an eye exam at lenscrafters in monroeville. My vision changed drastically and t lense crafters would not help me because it was 2 days past the 30 day they honor an exam.Americas Best in Butler was AWESOME. Got me an exam put as quick as they could rush on my glasses and even re-examed me 1 1/2 month later at no charge to get me new lenses. The staff there was extremely polite, helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I would recommend America's Best in Butler 100% to anyone!

Worst experience. I was very upset. The girls in front were very nice. The manager did not care at all, she acted like we were a huge bother to her and didn't want to take the time to help us.

The ladies in this store rock! I ordered glasses just before the 4th of July. They came in the following Tuesday. However, they came in somewhat flattened. At that point, they attempted to fix them and asked me to try them adding if they weren't right, to bring them back. So, I tried them and they really weren't right. The following Saturday, I took them back and apparently the lenses were causing the frame to twist(flex). They put my lenses in a new frame, heated and worked the frames and got me going. They went completely out of their way to make sure the glasses worked for me. Thank you ladies very much!!!
