This hotel is in need of update badly. The a/c would not have kept up had it been 90 deg, the hot water would just shut off after a couple minutes, not just get cold, it would shut off, staff and breakfast were great though

I made reservations 6 months ahead of time. I called them and double checked my reservations a week ago.
I went through a lot of planning to be sure I had 3 rooms side by side, on the first floor, next to the pool.
On the morning of, they tell me the rooms are not available.
TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!

Arrived to a room with air conditioning off. After giving it a while we realized the AC was not coming and asked for a different room. We were told that the other rooms did not have working AC either. It also took half an hour to check for a second room's AC as the device to make keys was not working. Finally we asked for a refund and left. I was assured not only by the desk staff but Quality Inn's corporate that we would not be charged for the room.
We were charged. The staff insisted that because we were in the room for more than an hour we had to pay for the night. We then were told that even if we wanted a refund we would have to wait for the manager later in the week. Corporate was unable to assist and offered to Zelle us the money rather than issue a credit card refund.
Terrible experience. Not only would I not stay at this location again, I will be avoiding ALL Quality Inn's going forward. Found a hotel in State College (30 minutes along our route home) that was 2/3rds of the price, had working AC and an indoor pool.

Hotel was completely deserted on a Friday night and this should have been a good indication but we had booked online and there weren’t many options at the location for $150/night.
Room was clean but outdated from 90s.
Breakfast was old. Cheese had mold. Apple juice container had beer in it. Some won’t complain for that I guess. Overall definitely need major improvements! Receptionist was polite and apologetic as in she knew of the flaws but it was out of her control.

I just went to get a room for my boy l(dog) and while some work is being done at home. Well, come to find out, they now charge a 250.00 deposit for local people. They are lucky to get the 96.00 they charge for a room. I've stayed her a few times and the place is nothing special...it's run down, and in need of major upgrades to keep up with the times! I'll just go to state college where I got a room that's much much nicer and half the price. Your loss quality inn ..you're never that busy and you'd think you'd want to attract customers, not chase them away!!
Rooms: Decently clean but nothing special
Nearby activities: Lewistown has nothing
Food & drinks: The restaurant closed down so you have to drive for food unless you order delivery

Quick summary: Definitely not worth $100. This is on par with $50 hotels in every aspect except cleanliness, which was very good. The hotel is old and very run down.Longer summary and review:The hotel is dying. There is no other way to say it. It needs a huge infusion of money and modernization to be acceptable at a mid-range standard. We were one of about 4 cars in the parking lot on a Friday night, in a 2 story complex of about 150 rooms. That did make it nice and quiet, though! We were on the first floor.Pros:1. Room we had was clean. I honestly felt staff were doing the best with what they have to work with. Linens were clean (but cover did have old minor staining on it), bathroom and carpets were clean. Things were dusted, at least to an acceptable level. The staff have done a good job trying to make the best out of the place. They are fighting a loosing battle.2. There were no pests/bugs or signs of them.3. Ceiling and walls had no signs of water damage.Cons: (in no particular order)1. They say they have breakfast online but that's closed as there are no customers to justify it. Restaurant is closed, too.2. The bathtub will not really drain. You need to be very patient with it. Like, 15 minutes for a shower patient.3. The room heater and exhaust fan in the bathroom sound like they are trying to escape up through the roof. Frankly, not sure I blame them.4. The wallpaper is torn and faded.5. There is no nightstand on one side of the bed.6. One of the lights is broken.7. There are no USB or upgraded outlets to be seen. There is an alarm clock from 1983.8. The coffee pot is kind of frightening and I did not use it.9. All lights / fixtures etc are just old and dingy.10. The armchairs smell musty when you sit on them and the room overall smells a little damp (but I've been in worse for that).11. Door did not want to open and then does not want to close. We were slamming this thing just to get in or out. There is more but the best way to summarize is that I feel, 100%, staff are doing what they can to make this clean. However, it needs more than dusting. For $50, I would not complain as these are all things that come with that price range and cleanliness is just an added bonus for a night's sleep. For $100? Not even close to worth it.Nearby activities: None unless you like grocery shoppingSafety: Seems safe enough

We stayed here because of its relative proximity to the University. Will never stay here again, we got BED BUGS! This has never happened to us, and I contacted the hotel to let them know we had bites. After several emails and unanswered phone calls, I have not gotten a response which makes me think they just don't care. Hoping this saves someone else from going through a similar ordeal.

Cigarette burns on the comforter and blood stains on the sheets. The place is run down with wallpaper peeling off and they have 6 air fresheners scattered around the room under tables. Walls and ceiling r paper thin u can hear everyone talking. The guy that checked us in was nice

Horrible place to stay. Stink like mold, dirty rooms, and heater doesn't work, no laundry. This place totally sucks. You be better off sleeping in your car.
