Prices too high. Rude staff. One time they gave the wrong vaccine to me pet. Another time they wanted to dona test which was already run a previous time. Apparently they can't read charts. I wanted to talk to another vet and get an opinion and they refused me told me if thats the case then make another appointment nd the vet I had refuse to treat my dog cause I had an appointment at another time to get a vaccine and wanted to keep the two separated.

We have been going to this practice for 10(ish) years. The office staff is RUDE. Forget about trying to have them send an Rx for your pet elsewhere - they clearly resent the loss of revenue. Recently I was denied a refill for a heartworm med for our dog, 'because she needed a blood test'. Mentioned that at her check up and was told "no she does not need that at this time." Only vet I am willing to see there is Dr Brad and as much as I like him, we are going to switch b/c I can't deal with the nasty people up front any more. And there insinuations that you don't know anything about your own pets. There are much better vets in this area. I've been lazy about switching, but it is time.

Today was my third visit here, we have a 16 year old diabetic blind deaf dog with recurring UTIs I can't say enough about how kind and fair they are here! They are focused on patient care not billing. Any additional testing was laid out in detail as optional vs recommended. All of the costs were disclosed. We don't live nearby but I will continue to make the drive because just like a doctor for human, bedside manor and patient care are a very important part of the treatment process.

I'm getting ready to leave this place. A mask is useless and I am tired of the nonsense especially when I was on my way out the door and someone told me my nostrils were exposed when I have a medical excuse to begin with. Everyone is laughing at them and yet they push. Also don't separate me from my pet when I am paying you. They don't want to lose their license yet where are the meds coming from? You better pay attention.

We can’t thank Dr. Kube enough for taking such good care of our dog Chico. As Chico is aging, he is experiencing an increasing number of ailments. Dr. Kube is so kind as to answer any of our questions very thoroughly. Dr. Kube goes out of his way to making sure he is providing the best possible care for our dog and we are so grateful that Chico is in such great hands!!! We highly recommend Dr. Kube at Buckingham Animal Hospital!

The staff is AMAZING. I’m a better dog Mom because of the Vets and support staff. The most compassionate people you will ever encounter; you can trust these fine folks to do everything in their power for your beloved pet.

I've been taking my 4 dogs and two 2 cats to this vet for the past 10 yrs. I absolutely love their old school approach. Very good diagnosticians and don't push unnecessary nonsense on an already anxious animal. One of mine is a 10 1/2yr old 185lb St Bernard...they've looked after him since we brought him home for the first time. This practice is well versed in all the breeds and their characteristics and potential health issues. I will continue to bring all my animals to this practice with confidence

I really hate to leave a negative review... especially for a place that helps animals. My dog had been seen there when she was alive, and they were great with her. My cat had been seen there 10 years ago, but I moved my cat to a closer vet because she hated long car rides. That closer vet retired about 3 years ago. My cat was 18, and suddenly stopped eating and drinking. My husband called Buckingham, since she had been seen there before and they would at least have some prior records. He told them she was last seen there 10 years ago.... they offered us a "cancellation" appointment two days later. *I* called back the next day.... the day before the scheduled appointment, and asked if there were any cancellations that day because I knew something was very wrong. The treatment I received during my phone call was absolutely abhorrent. I spoke to a "Karen," who once learning who the patient was... immediately took on an extremely rude tone of voice. She said that no, there were no other appointments she could offer me. I reiterated that my cat was worse today, and she had to nerve to tell a terrified, weeping cat owner of 18 years the following: "well she hasn't been seen here in 10 years.... and since YOU HAVEN'T KEPT UP WITH HER QUALITY OF CARE, we have no idea what could be going on." in the same rude, condescending tone. She basically told me I hadn't cared properly for my cat. Of 18 years. I was too stunned and angry and honestly crying too hard to correct her and tell her how out of line her opinion was... especially at that moment. I hung up and called my husband.... crying hysterically.... he calmed me down by telling me she was 1000% awful and gave me a couple other vets to try. I was able to be seen by York Road Animal Hospital an hour later.... where I learned my cat was most likely in liver (and possibly more organ) failure, but at her age.... blood testing and subsequent treatment would be more suffering than hope for recovery, and he recommended I put her down. So I did as I held her in my arms. This has been some of the worst 2 weeks of my life. So Karen.... please fix yourself. You piled on heaps more trauma and pain when you should have been trying to alleviate it.

Love the doctors at Buckingham Animal Hospital! They have helped my dog through many ailments! They are reasonably priced that you will never be surprised by a huge bill.

Moved to the area about a year ago so we are new to the practice. Doctors seem to care about the pets and call to check up on them. However they don't have many basic pieces of equipment that I am used to having available at a vet that you need to go another hospital for. This is not convenient at all. Also the receptionist staff is not very friendly most times I've gone. Weighing everything it's middle of the road.

These guys are GREAT! My family has been going for some time with their dogs. We brought our dogs to the practice about 6 years ago and keep coming back for many reasons. This morning I called in before hours with a very gross issue with my two dogs. Dr. Kube answered, listened, gave feedback and an action plan was made within minutes. The rest of the staff followed through and followed up with great attention. Here's the deal, their actions were met with true cost effectiveness and there is absolutely no reason to miss a vet visit here; for the good of animals and their people too. (Plus, a few years ago I had to put a truly good dog down. The Dr and staff really did all they could to help me and my best buddy, thank you Buckingham Animal Hospital)
