When you normally get quotes it just includes the price of the item. Dennis quote included everything, tire installation and balancing. So I was surprised when I got my bill. “Being an Uber driver, I put a lot of mileage on my car, (50,000 to 60,000 per year)...when my trans went bad almost 3 years ago around 120,000 miles I contacted Pat's and they set me up with a working remanufactured transmission that I purchased with a 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty...after that one went bad around 100,000 miles later he replaced it for free with another one, then another 100,000 or so and almost 3 years later with 315,000 miles on the car he replaced that one for free again. They do great work and they are very honest and keep good communication over the course of the job. Highly recommended.”

“When I tell you this is a top notch business I mean it. We broke down on our way to a wedding, we called desperate for someone to see our car. Denise was so kind and let us come over. They checked out our car and told us where eat and have a beer while we waited. They fixed our old car for a reasonable price and on time. They told us an hour and a half and it was just under 90 minutes. Finding a mechanic that keeps its word in this day and age is rare. We wish we were locals or they were closer to us. If we ever have car problems in the Philadelphia area we will only go to MacGarrigle.”
“Been going there for years, always have honest answers, reasonable prices, great service, and efficient turnaround time. Just recently had an issue with my car that I discovered 2 hours before they closed on a Friday. Took it over and got it back in working order before they closed up shop. The whole team is helpful and kind. Cant recommend enough.”

“After a very disappointing (aka outrageous) quote from my VW dealership, I took my car to Bram at PA Tire & Auto in Ardmore. It was an excellent decision because I was treated kindly, fairly, and communicated with about all decisions. They were able to take my car in and turn it back over to me extremely fast. My neighbor who is a car mechanic later shared that they do great work and treat people fairly which was very reassuring. It's obvious that not only do they do great work, but they are not in the business of taking advantage of their customers. For a very fair price and in two days, the mechanics at Tropical Auto Repair replaced my radiator, alternator and belt on my 2008 Toyota Highlander. She is running like a gem again!
