“Mom’s Organic is a great resource to have in the neighborhood, a big health food store. I shop their regularly and try to find things on sale because it’s a bit pricey, especially produce (which is very high quality and organic). One time, I wanted something that they didn’t offer, so was told to write the owner and I did. Sure enough, they began carrying it! It’s a staple at our home (Ripple milk). The staff are very helpful.,The wellness section manager helped me diagnose a skin condition and is very knowledgeable.,Great selection of health food stores.”

“I love the Acme in Bryn Mawr! it is a convenient and pleasant place to shop, not far from my home. The store is always clean and has a wide variety of foods. I know I can find fresh asparagus and fresh broccoli crowns there at a decent price, for example, while many other stores do not have them. Also the employees are always friendly and helpful as well. i particularly found the Store Director Jim to be kind and eager to help me when I had questions about items on shelves or about the Acme app. Anthony, an employee, also helped me with my questions related to rewards I received related to the app, having put my phone number in the card reader at checkout. The store is a great place to shop, and the staff members continue to help make it so.”

“I believe it was the owner who made my sandwich. He seem to know everyone coming in for lunch. I moved from out of state and some of the places I have been so far were not as friendly as I am used to. So it was really nice to see he was interested in his customers and friendly. I got a smoked turkey hoagie and it was great, lots of meat and the peppers were great.”

“I love this place. It was my primary kitchen for about 8 years. All the food is really good, both the deli and the prepared food. The family running it is very nice. Recommend for sure”

“You can find some very good items that are a little "different" in here. The problem is you don't know if they will have it again next time. The store is nice and clean. The people are very nice and appear happy. We like this place.”

“If you're looking for a great Seafood store, look no further then Philly Lobster Gourmet Foods. I've shopped here for several years now and am always so impressed by the selection, and top quality. The shop is so well run, it's so fresh and spotless. Not only do they have great fresh seafood, they also have many specially prepared entries and side dishes that will surely please. They even have a wide assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables to round out your shopping list.”

“Friendly staff. Excellent selection. I'm american and can't really make sense of all the merchandise all of the time, but there were some melona bars which I love, i got some fresh, semi-dry refrigerated noodles w/which to make stir-fry tomorrow, some reasonably priced watercress, enoki mushroom, a fancy grapefruit all wrapped up, an asian pear that was paler than I habe ever seen, but in a good way. Lots of specialty fruits of a high calibre. Huge, presumably soft shell crabs, live. Got some dried honeysuckle flowers to add to my proprietary herbal tea blends or even just some green or black back home. They had toasted barley for use in tea blends or to brew on its own. Dried candied peaches are nice. Kasugai gummies are amazing and wegmans stopped selling all but my least favorite flavors. That was my original incentive to scope this place out. Couldn't restrain myself once inside. You know me.”

“The best hoagies joint in the area. My husband and I often get hoagies from T&F as it is much closer and their hoagies are very good. But when it comes to quality of meats, Haggerty is the best. I had Hagerty's BLT also and it was great. The owner is a very nice young man and it feels good to patronize a local mom and pop shop”

“This niche, unnoticeable small produce/ co-op or co-op like store offers fresh food. If it can go bad then it might be on discount or even free. Definitely a neighborhood store to help the community with some healthy food options potentially. I stuck out that the employee was wondering what I was doing at this venue until I said TooGoodToGo. I felt like I would've been a nuisance without this unexpected "carte blanche." In my goodies bag, I ended up with two cinnamon? Muffins, 1 or 2 corns, croissants, peach cups, carrots, mushrooms. Almost docked a star but the man was nice enough to take his time to pack me some goodies and then pointed me to the free table of things as well. A man on the side of the street was trying to say hi to me but I thought he was going to ask me for money. So I didn't reply. I knew that I was in a respectable neighborhood (Cobbs Creek) but I also know that I don't live here, I stick out, and it is Philadelphia proper. It felt awkward to look around inside the small store even though there were 10 min left. Everything seemed ready for closing up. I would've gotten there sooner but personal things came up. But I did still make it on time thankfully. I guess you could say, I really get around!”

“Unique goods from Europe (esp. Eastern Europe/Greece/Turkey). Meats, cheeses, breads, lots of shelf items (pickles, sauces) and some pastries. Love the atmosphere (appropriately gruff service). New favorite.”

“Great hoagies, fresh rolls and deli meat is sliced to order for every sandwich by the owner. Soda and chips too plus a few grocery items if you need milk and bread. My mom says it's just like her corner store growing up in Oxford Circle, can't beat that nostalgia”

“While walking along Germantown Avenue, we saw Weaver's Way Co-op. Great customer service from Derin in produce and everyone else. Very helpful staff.Excellent selection of items, good prices and clean store.”

4.5 Superb106 Reviews

“Weaver's Way is justly celebrated as a Mt.Airy institution. Yes, some of the prices are high, but that's due in part to the quality of what's on offer and prices on staples are mostly reasonable. Yes, it can feel crowded but it also has a strong sense of community absent from Acme and other grocery stores. The staff is treated well and are lovely and helpful. If you are in the area, I strongly urge you to join!”

“Great little Indonesian grocery store/ mini market that sells Indonesian food and snacks! So happy to see some food items here that I had in my childhood! Cash or venmo only! The only minus is that their fried food/fritters options vary alot from day to day. One day you get great options another day not. But overall you can find great Indonesian food options here: tempe, gorengan (bakwan), klepon/onde-onde, kue-kue, desserts, nasi bungkus and bumbu/ seasonings”

“This store is a great addition to Mt Airy. On average prices are about 75% of what you'd pay at Acme. Also they have some unusual items. I can never find cream there though which is odd.”

“Just wow! A friend told me about this place and I thought I wouldn't find anything because I have a plant based diet. Not true. There is a ton of organic, plant based, and healthy foods here. Expiration dates vary but most are pretty good, like a month or two +. I've found fresh fruits, vegetables, diaya cheesecake, oat milk ice cream, diaya pizza, nut milks, etc. a whole gallon of bit milk is about $3-4 and the pizza was just $3-4. Wow! Just wow. The stock rotates so you never know what you'll find. Hi there often. You won't be disappointed.Take a look at my pic. Grocery Outlet haul. Lots of specialty items and organic. $160 spent. $183 saved!”

“I came here on a cold rainy day and had the coziest experience. The service was wonderful and they offer complimentary iced barley tea. I ordered the shrimp yakisoba and it was the perfect meal for that weather! I was so hungry I didn’t think to snap photos but maybe next time (because I shall return!).”

“Best little hole in the wall mom and pop style deli. I’ve had their cheesesteaks, hoagies, and breakfast sandwiches, all fantastic. They also have a few grocery type items if you need something, I haven’t yet but nice to know it’s there just in case. Workers are all very nice and the food is always made to order. So glad this place exists!”

“We visit there once or twice a year and they have interesting items and great food. No grocery store in town yet, so this is most helpful and I expect will succeed even with new store coming in.”

“A neighborhood favorite mini market with excellent deli sandwiches including the renowned Vietnamese Pork or Tofu Banh-Mi. Most basic grocery staples are in stock amongst the small isles.”

“Reasonably priced items. Know what you are going to get here in advance. It usually supplements my larger purchases with other shops like Walmart / Giant. I shop for a family of 6 and try to save money where I can. Competitive on certain items, especially if you're willing to go off brand.Don't forget to bring your bags.Also- no self checkout at this location.”

“This was my first visit to any Aldi store. I went in the evening and it wasn't crowded at all. First confusion was that there were no cart corrals outside in the parking lot. hmmmmm. When you enter, there is a line of carts but there is a coin slot. Hmmmmm. I go further in the store and find an empty cart at the end of a full serve check out aisle. So now I go shopping. The first thing I notice is that the entire row of frozen food compartments are empty. A sign says to ask someone if you need a frozen item. I find out that their sprinkler system went off accidentally and all the frozen food are in refrigerated trucks in the back of the store. I ask if they have any chicken pot pies but I'm out of luck. The store employee tells me that stock is limited, but all shelves should be restocked by Monday (I was there on a Friday evening).First thing I notice is that eggs are $1.02 per dozen, AND they are Large, not medium eggs. So far things are looking good. 73/27 Ground beef is under $4 a pound for a 5 pound family pack. I'm liking that too. Similar low prices for lactose free milk, butter, cream cheese and prepackaged cheese slices and brick packed. Selection for the most part is sufficient. Brand name items are priced higher and selection for brand name items is minimal. I find just about everything I need and the prices are extremely less that any other supermarket I've ever shopped.Full serve checkout is available and no lines. You put your items on the conveyor belt and the cashier places all your items in another empty cart at the end of the aisle. Oops, I guess I shouldn't have taken that cart I used. Anyway, I was warned that you need to bring your own bags, which I did. After paying, you take your new cart to a packing station (a long wooden stand where you transfer your items into your bags). This is a great system because the check out lines are not held up by people/or the cashier packing your items while the rest of the line doesn't move. Overall I loved the whole experience, especially the total price for my cart full of items. My only complaint is that several items did not have prices for them. That, for me, is a common occurrence at other places as well and it's really annoying since there are not a lot of employees roaming the store to assist you. But I'm willing to live with that because it keeps the prices low. But someone should walk the store and correct any items that aren't priced. After loading the groceries into my car, I notice again that there are no places outside to put your empty cart. So I walked mine back into the store. Oddly, no one seemed to just leave their cart out in the lot. I guess that's because, if you get your cart correctly in the first place, you'll need to deposit a quarter to release it. So I guess you can't leave your cart in the lot if you want your quarter back. Now I know!! No carts are gonna get loose and hit your car.I'll definitely be going back, especially because I'll need to check out their frozen food selection. I give this store ????? out of 5.”

“A true foodie or super nuanced vegan can find something here that is not as easy to find at other stores if at all. I would expect only grains and dry things to be unique enough but I found pre-made cashew cream cheese which I thought I might have to go to whole foods or maybe a co-op for, and that is a big maybe. Could've done online or considered making my own but time is of the essence. I didn't want to "substitute" regular cream cheese because it would affect the taste and not be vegan. I am not vegan but a vegan could not even eat something I made with such a "substitution ". The label didn't say cashew milk on it and a store associate over the phone and in-person had to help me. I learned a lot on this day by adventuring randomly on my own food journey, and Martindale's was masterful to help out!”
