Great find! It would benefit you to stop by this very friendly family owned auto shop. Stopped with a slow leak tire. Joe stopped what he was doing, took my tire off, dunked it and found leak right away. After some good conversation, I was back on the road in no time. I will be back for any future work I require. Thank you!!

A GREAT neighborhood mechanic. Trustworthy, reasonable prices, and stands behind the quality of his work. Basically a one-man shop so be warned: hours can be a bit unpredictable, and the scheduling is loose (“bring it by next Tuesday” is the kind of thing you will get, no exact times or email reminders here), but Andy is a straight shooter and will make sure your auto problems get solved.

I needed to do my yearly checkup on my car and i took it to the local dealership. They found some rust. Told me it would not pass the checkup and it was totaled. I was devastated. However, I went to Andy to get a second opinion and he found the rust to be unrelated to the car's functionality and passed me for inspection. They were easy to contact, extremely responsive!

I called Garrett Hill Auto on Wednesday, 2/17/21 to book an appointment to replace a headlight on my car. The man who answered the phone said "bring it in Friday" - didn't give me a specific time though, and didn't take down my contact details. Thought that was strange but figured maybe they have a lot of openings on Friday for appointments so there would be no problem fitting me in.Today (Friday 2/19), my husband and I drove in the inclement, rather hazardous weather conditions to Garrett Hill Auto Service. Of course, because they had not taken down my contact details, and also they did not pick up the phone, there was no way of knowing it would be closed until we got there and there was no one around.I am not impressed by the lack of professionality in not taking down my contact details, especially knowing that inclement weather would be coming and that they might close. It wasted my time during a busy work day. Won't be trying them again.

The owner of the shop may do some good work and he may treat most people very well but the fact of the matter is he treated me terribly for absolutely no reason. The guy is a total bully and only because I'm not a big person did he give me this attitude. I honestly don't care if the guy goes out of business.

Andy is the best fast, reliable and always available when needed and plus, I live within walking distance so whenever I need anything some times I just walk down an they are always willing to assist.

Andy is the most reasonable mechanic I have ever met. I will only take my vehicle here for service unless they are unable to do the job.
