Poor service and unprofessional staff. The unpleasant experience started while I was waiting for my service. A gentleman was mocking his client for taking a selfie. He was loud and exercised no restraint or professionalism.
The service itself with subpar. There was a significant amount of hands off time during the facial when the service provider was straightening up and doing dishes. I expressed at the beginning of the facial that my main concern was hydration and the service provider said she would do a moisturizing facial. That equated to a $30 add on that was not explained to me.
After the service the front desk, staff tried to sell me aggressively on a membership.
This was not a spa experience. This was not a good facial. Nothing about it made it worth the money, especially with the $30 add-on fee. That was absolutely ridiculous.

Do not go to this hand & stone . I have been to several locations and I have never experienced what I experienced here. I also made a review and stated my honest opinion on how I felt my experience was and the manager Diane called me and was so rude. I’m not even sure if she used curse words, but she said that I was ruining her reputation when I’m not even the ONLY one with the same concerns this establishment has no good customer service , their racist , they don’t Massage for the full-time you pay for and they don’t correct their customers concerns this place needs to be closed and i am seriously thinking about taking further action because $130 + time and traveling is just wasted and I got completely disrespected by staff ! I wish I could leave negative stars so people don’t have to go thru what we went thru .

Had an appointment months in advance. Called a week before to confirm and inquire about alternative dates just in case we couldn’t get child care. At the end of the call we decided to leave the appointment where it was since we had a reasonable chance to get child care.
Day of appointment my wife and I come in and it turns out the receptionist I spoke with went ahead and moved our appointment without our consent. The attitude of the establishment was essentially sorry it wasn’t me who made the mistake that person is no longer with us. No attempt to resolve or rectify the mistake.
People make mistakes, but this place doesnt seem to care about customer service at all. Incredibly disappointed.

I had a great masseuse named Tony at the Edgemont Hand And Stone. I have not been able to find a masseuse that Can compare or even come close, at the Broomall Hand And Stone. I've had three different ones so far. All were very disappointing. Sorry to say I canceled my membership as of today . After the worst one by far this afternoon, I won't mention her name, but all she did was douse me with oil and rub it on. I asked her very clearly in the beginning to please not stay in one spot over and over again and use some pressure. She did the exact opposite. Oh well, such is life !

I have previously gotten massages at this location before, and I have had no issues. However, I had an appointment recently in which I was planning to use a gift card to pay for the massage. When I spoke with the front desk attendant, she said this card only had $40 because it was rung out incorrectly by the front desk the last time I had gotten a massage in August. No one apologized to me for this mistake, and I decided to cancel the massage. Coincidentally, the cancellation fee was $40, so I walked away with no gift cards, massage, or apology. Unfortunately, I will not be utilizing this location any longer due to this issue and their lack of kindness in addressing the matter.

Professional, clean and relaxing. Will be back. This was my first massage and they helped ease some of the first time jitters. Al staff were super nice, from the reception to the therapist.

I was a member for about a year or more even had family members getting services also. I would get facials and different massages but never having a bad experience with Tom who was the person I would go to on a regular. Until January when I showed up for my appointment on time, was told it was given to someone else. I was placed on a "no-show" list, which is false because i always showed up! They didn't care about me or tried to reschedule or anything but look at me as though i made the mistake. They didn't reschedule the other person who made their appointment the day before were as mines was made months in advance.Poor management, because instead of the manager calling me the same day or the next day, it took for me to bring lawyers into the conversation a month after to be refunded and have the manager contact me! I don't know how people run businesses but this wasn't handled the best way possible. Charging me twice for a service I didn't receive and taking a month to contact me after i called for a week leaving messages. I wouldn't recommend this fancies even if you paid me!

Always a great experience when gifted to family and friends. Everybody should get pampered at least once a year.
