“I stopped going to Pep Boys of Broomall, despite its proximity to my job, because every visit resulted in them insisting I needed a new brake job. After hearing a noise following their brake service, I returned, only to be told again that I needed a brake job, which was frustrating.
Yesterday, my car broke down due to bad gas, and my trusted mechanic was unavailable for two weeks. I decided to have it towed to Pep Boys of Broomall, where I noticed a new team. A young lady was very helpful and suggested trying some oil they offered for free.
This was a pleasant surprise. I am reconsidering Pep Boys and have scheduled an oil and filter change. I appreciate this customer-focused approach rather than the previous practice of unnecessary upselling.”
