“*edit* This store is appointment only. Also the sign does not say "Khan's Antiques & Jewelry" rather it says "Media Antiques".Tried to go here this afternoon, but store looked fairly empty, doors were locked and I couldn't see anyone inside. No hours posted anywhere.”

1350 Middletown Rd, Glen Mills“Lovely store with a very kind proprietor who told us they were “running a sale” and gave us some unexpected discounts! The kind of shop owner that makes you want to come back!”
“The Philadelphia Print Shop has a huge selection of beautiful prints, and a warm, expert staff. It is a pleasure to work with them and I am SO happy with the set of bird prints which they helped me to put together!”
“I went in to the shop expecting little but Tony was amazing. We had great conversation, I learned thing and he gave me an incredibly for deal for the coins I had. I’ll be back if I have more.”
“Amazing space. Friendly and welcoming, also accommodated my need for a chair. Very intimate for performances. 5 stars all around. Look forward to catching another show soon.”
“Wonderful selection of some of the finest antiques you will see in one location. Outstanding quality that includes paintings, formal silver and tableware, furniture, clocks, and more. The owner has extensive knowledge and expertise in antiques. The shop is a treasure hunters dream come true! Even if you don’t find something special to purchase, this shop is well worth the visit.”
“So, after a wonderful Sunday brunch at Springmill Cafe, we decided to take a look at the offerings at Bird in Hand Consignment. Immediately, I spotted this clock in their display window. The price required no negotiation! I took the clock home, set it up for testing, and discovered that it was quite a bit older than I realized. Instead of brass, nearly all of the wheels in the movement were made of wood! The clock was manufactured by Boardman and Wells in Bristol Conn sometime between 1832 and 1843.This is a clock that will be in my permanent collection! And Bird in Hand Consignment will be on my must visit list.”

10AM - 3PM
30 Chestnut Rd, Paoli“Brilliant, did work way beyond what I could have expected on a clock that purely sentimental value to my wife. Repaired a cog wheel in fact, which I know is really difficult to do. Keeps perfect time after they showed my wife how to adjust and operate the 150 year old clock. That was, in itself worth what I paid. We would never have worked out the 'tricks' of how to set it ourselves. I showed all the neighbors and the videos they sent me of the work in progress. I recommend this expert clock repairer. They will also give you an honest run down on value and what is worth doing as well and I think that can confuse some of us in America who are used to being placated with 'anything can be done' rhetoric.”
“They all seemed real nice there. He was very negotiable and respectful kind of funny maybe he's been huffing his own milk paint.. I'm from the south so this is one of the first thrift stores I've seen but reasonable pricing because most of the other ones I've been to up here I don't even know how they're in business cuz there's no way they sell anything at their dream thought prices”
10:15AM - 5:45PM
45 E Chestnut Hill Ave, Philadelphia“A wonderful antique shop if you like a very specific style of traditional old fashioned furnitur , silver's , and mirrors. Very knowledgeable and friendly owner.”
“This shop is filled with old and new items, owners are very friendly. Clean and organized. Great prices and vendors are open to negotiate within reason. Wonderful place to spend some time walking around and just ? chillin”
“I don’t understand how this gentleman gets these terrible reviews. He is very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I loved his outgoing personality and his knowledge of all the items in this shop. Never seen a place like this on. Anyone who is into antiques should visit no matter the reviews. Sounds like he may have been nervous with the pandemic and wanted to stay well by asking questions. If I had such thin skin as these people making these bad reviews, I couldn’t have gone anywhere the last few years without getting upset. I get that people have anxiety about getting Covid. This owner and his charming shop shouldn’t be rediculed because of it. But it’s ok, you can pass it on by and leave the treasures to me and the people I will refer!”
“I stopped in the store for something else... had no idea it was a consingment / ebay store. While chatting I saw a novelty item sellling for $50. I really wanted it so I'm like here's my $50 and was ready to take it off their hands. However, another person had reserved it although they hadn't been back to get it. So he did not sell it to me. I thought that was honorable. It had been a long while so he could have easily sold it to me and just given the other buyer their deposit back.”
