We have been using Stranoparts for our cars for years. Every time I have asked for a recommendation, Sam knows exactly what will work. Whether it was the brake pads he recommended for our Mustang or just this week, the shocks we needed for our truck, his choices are always perfect for the problems I describe. He doesn't push the most profitable items, he suggests what fits your needs the best. And that's why we keep coming back. For competition cars, daily driving cars and tow vehicles. I find it best to call because the website barely scratches what they can provide. Additionally, Desiree is always so pleasant answering the phone and my questions. We have outfitted at least 7 cars here and will continue. Thanks!

Sam has been a wealth of knowledge to the racing community as a whole, let alone the F-body groups for longer than I can remember over 20 years of owning my Firebird. He's a rare breed in today's industry, I should know because I work in it as well.
I've had his Strano Handling Package Part # HP6-SPP with the adjustable konis, springs, and swaybars on my car for 12 years now as well as a list of other parts he pioneered and have done quite well with a car that's sorely underpowered compared to its competition with a loose nut behind the wheel.
Sam won't lead you the wrong way just to chase a sale with a higher price point, he'll give you guidance on selecting the components for your car based on real world experience, data, results, and even your level of experience. Not everybody is ready for the big-boy expensive coilovers, no matter how much you just want to fiddle with the adjustments.
The people that get upset or have negative interactions are usually the ones that weren't transparent, forthright, or didn't listen to his advice at all.

Sam Strano has helped me in so many ways with my Vettes and getting them prepped for autox and now track. I’ve been a happy customer for two years now, his knowledge is a gold mine. He knows the ins and outs of the cars as well as the aftermarket parts he puts on. Sam has been kind enough to be able to diagnose what I’m noticing in behavior in the car and give recommendations to fix it. And the kicker is he’s always right!
I would *not* be in the same spot as I am now if I hadn’t to talked to Sam. I now have a C6Z06 and with some modest aftermarket parts that Sam has recommended and this car has taken care of me at multiple track days, surpassing my expectations of what I thought it was capable of.
When I’m complimented on my car and how it behaves, I give all the credit to Sam. Dude knows his stuff.

Wouldn’t buy water from this guy if I was in a desert. Refuses to stand by his product and expects someone to pay a fee when the part is clearly off. Bought two, one worked, otger didnt. Seriously tried to suggest that it was the car that was off. Low mile car, no accidents that tracks completely straight and has a perfect wheel alignment. Yet, somehow, it “could be” the car. Complete clown show.

Sam is a great guy and very supportive to the autocross community. He will save you time and money with his experience and will get you a great setup that you can fine tune to your style of driving.

I can't even fathom the level of insecurity that would have somebody leave Sam a one-star review for being outdated. Sam knows more about every part available on the market for every car than anybody I've ever met. On top of that, he's willing to give you all of that knowledge at no charge, even when you're not even completing a purchase from him. If you know everything, buy your parts somewhere else. But for the rest of us that need help, come here. You won't regret it.

Can say enough great things. Doesn't sell you stuff you don't need. Will give you great answers, product, and prices. Bought my first set of shocks. Then a second set of shocks and springs. Look here first before purchasing anything.

Website and owner are both severely outdated.Shop elsewhere, you can get the same products for cheaper, and without having to deal with Sam.

Sam is a huge asset to automotive racing! He helped me get my c7 squared away. With minimal upgrades, all picked by Sam, my grand sport easily beat up on local competition at an auto cross event. Let me start off by saying that Strano Performance Parts is owned and operated by Sam Strano. He works on the front lines of his business and truly cares about providing customers the results they are looking for (while exceeding expectations). Prior to each purchase I have called or emailed Sam directly and received consultations on each part to better understand their impact on my performance goals.He will not try to sell you something he doesnt believe you need and this is a sticking point that earned both my respect and business from the start. That said, Sam will ask you difficult questions in order to get a much more intimate understanding of your performance goals and which parts will get you closer to those goals while keeping your wallet in mind.So far I have purchased a set of forged wheels, lower control arms, master cylinder brace, shocks, and springs for a F-body Formula Firebird.
