This was my first time using a moving company and it was amazing!! Brian did an amazing job setting everything up and the moving crew was professional and very polite. I would definitely recommend them!

Had an excellent moving experience, the 3-man team was punctual, professional, and efficient. Even after I had issues getting the freight elevator secured at the destination the RMS team always maintained a courteous demeanor. I would also like to shoutout JR who supplemented the 3-man team to help with the hoisting of some of the heavier items. Would absolutely recommend.

Two months ago I wrote the above review about the horrors, lies and costs dealing with Riverfront Moving and Storage. I am writing another one because it's now been over year since our move and JR, the owner of Riverfront Moving and Storage has NEVER ONCE returned my phone calls about the zero-deductible insurance we purchased from his company. Read on and you will understand why you should never trust Riverfront Moving and Storage if you are moving to Philadelphia or anywhere in Pennsylvania. Do not move using Riverfront Moving & Storage (Philadelphia) or you will be sorry. We moved with them a year ago and we are still paying the price. We have never met a company as dishonest and inept as Riverfront Moving and Storage. JR, the owner of Riverfront, is dishonest about everything! We paid for zero-deductible insurance. They broke nine pieces of our furniture and have NEVER honored our insurance. How does JR get away with it? He NEVER returned my phone calls. Not once In over a year! When we complained to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, JR lied and said he spoke to me twice. A total lie! Actually, it's two total lies! We even sent JR a registered letter a few months back which he signed for. But JR NEVER got back to us. Why was JR so dishonest about not honoring our insurance and the fact they broke 9 pieces f furniture? Two possibilities? One, unless our prescriptions magically fell off the truck, they never arrived in our home. Since they stole prescription drugs from us we reported it to our local police. But we will never get them back. Another possibility. Riverfront may never have had the insurance they sold us. I wouldn't put that past Riverfront and JR. How are we sure Riverfront broke our furniture? JR took pictures of all our furniture the day of our move. Think he'll be producing those photos? I doubt it. There were other problems, too. Riverfront didn't even deliver all our boxes INSIDE our house. Imagine that? Who ever heard of a moving company that didn't move boxes INSIDE your house--to the right rooms? They left 6 large boxes in our garage. Riverfront Moving & Storage also didn't unpack and set up our furniture as they promised they would do. But mostly, it's not the Rx drugs we lost or the fact we had to break our backs moving boxes Riverfront left in our garage to the proper rooms. It's how they broke furniture and refused to own up to it or EVER return or phone calls. We are just exhausted trying to get Riverfront and JR to honor the insurance we paid for one year after our move! DO NOT move with Riverfront Moving and Storage. You will regret it!

Our family had a good experience using RMS. They were considerate and paid attention to the details that were important to us in packing and moving our many items. The movers were professional and the pricing was upfront. I'd recommend RMS for your Moving Service!

The owner JR oversells the service to make it seems as if there is one charge for furniture pads & shrink wrap (not bubble wrap btw). The upcharge was insane. A one bedroom move 5mins away, was 4.5 hours at the cost of $700. My belongings where damaged (Dresser) and missing ( my son 1st school pictures, a column, wall art). Once the move was over, it was almost impossible to contact anyone from the company to rectify the situation. It took a full week to reach JR. Once we spoke, he said he would get back to me the next (he did not) it took for me to call him repeatedly for two days, just for him to tell me what I already knew he would say, my belongings are not on his truck (of course not after 7 days) and there is nothing he can do about my furniture being damaged because it look like water damage. Of course! the move was in the rain and certainly they dropped or hit it against something. This company sucsk at customer service and is greedy for money. JR could careless about the well-being of your items unless you're a six figure person. He craps on the middle & lower class.

The Team of TJ, Danny, Amir & Reggie were outstanding & extremely professional. They were able to pack, move furniture & belongings from multiple locations in less than 10 hours while maintaining a positive can do attitude. I hired Riverfront for a move from Lansdale to Philly and they exceeded my expectations in every way. First of all I put it out in the universe that I was looking for movers by way of Angi and Riverfront was one of the first companies to send me an email with a detailed quote. After receiving quotes and tons of annoying phone calls and texts from several OTHER companies and seeing that Riverfronts quote was very fare in terms of price and the reviews I read were more positive for them compared to others it was an easy decision to go with Riverfront. The process was seamless and simple and I just feel that Riverfront was straight up with me and I got exactly what I paid for at the exact price I expected to pay. With that said the absolute best part of this experience was my awesome movers Joel and Danny, those two guys were absolute legends in my book. They were on time, they communicated how the process would go perfectly and with 100% accuracy. They worked their butts off for me and were as friendly, fast and professional as you could ever want and they took great care of every single piece of furniture and my walls are all completely intact. I would recommend this company and this group of guys to anyone because I was very concerned about this whole process but dealing with Riverfront was as positive of an experience as I could only had dreamed.

These guys really went above and beyond to help us with our move. RMS helped us move nearly every item in our apartment to our new place quickly and carefully. They showed up on time, and worked so efficiently, that we were able to finish packing and leave our old apartment earlier than expected.When we got to the new apartment, they moved everything up our stairs and into our apartment with zero scrapes, breaks, or dings in any furniture or walls.Great movers, really great people.Would recommend to my family, friends, or anyone else.Thank you, Riverfront Moving and Storage!

Excellent experience, highly recommend. They were right on time, they knew exactly what they needed to do. They handled our boxes and furniture with ease. The two guys had a good rhythm working with each other. They explained everything to me, they delivered all furniture and boxes to the specified places within our home. Money well spent.

They were up front about all fees and took extreme care of all the furniture I had moved. The guys were beyond polite, and actually very nice! Things had to be disassembled and put back together and they did an amazing job. Highly recommend!

RMS made moving day stress free for me. My movers were Nate and Mister and they were very professional, friendly and helpful. Not to mention efficient with their time. They also took good care of my furniture - everything was wrapped in quilts and plastic and handled with care. The cost was not cheap (my move was out of state) but you get what you pay for, and the excellent service they provided was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

I will never use another moving company again! I’ve used riverfront moving & storage for three moves now and they are easily the best company out there. They are very professional, super responsive, and reasonable with their pricing. They explain the whole moving process in detail and make what could be a confusing process, easy. The movers work hard and are super friendly. Look no further for your next move.
