I visited Beteena for alterations on my wedding dress, which I had purchased off the rack and needed taken out. My mom even traveled from Minnesota to join me for the appointment. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Beteena expressed that I should never have bought the dress and suggested I resell it, even though I told her I paid $4,500 for it. She then advised me to lose 15 pounds to fit into it, saying I could return after and she would consider altering it, though it would likely cost $2,000.
While I understand that wedding dress alterations can be challenging, I found these suggestions discouraging and made me feel awful about my dress. I ended up finding another seamstress, Sheda’s Fashion, who assured me the alterations were very doable at a fraction of the price. Sheda did a wonderful job, and I felt beautiful in the dress. I'm thankful I found a solution that worked for me.

The best place I could have ever gone to get my wedding dress altered! Betenna is the kindest person and the hardest worker and I was so pleased with the amount of time and detail she put into making my gown perfect. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Bateena did an excellent job with my wedding dress! She is very detailed and took her time while working on the alterations. My dress was initially too big on me, and she had to cut a lot off of the bottom of the dress (which had many layers), added a very intricate bustle, and made sure the top was comfortable. She is so sweet and I loved getting to know her throughout my appointments. It was a pleasure working with her!

I can't say enough about all the work Beteena did on my wedding gown. Her attention to detail and experience was just what I needed for the transformation of my gown! I was originally told the inside liner on the sides could be easily removed because it was a different version of the same dress I originally wanted. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case but Beteena made sure we got the lining out anyway to match the other dress as best as we could. Not only did it have to be altered tremendously because of my height, it also had to be taken in several dress sizes and you would never know how big it was to begin with after all her alterations! We had so many appointments to get it absolutely perfect and it turned out to be just that! She also altered my mom's dress at the last minute because it wasn't fitting correctly and hers turned out perfect too! We can't thank Beteena enough for everything she did and I'm so happy we chose her for our alterations! She truly is the best there is, thank you so much for everything Beteena!

Beteena was fantastic to work with for my wedding day! She hemmed my dress, created a bustle, and adjusted the zipper. She made the process so easy and made me feel so comfortable. Her work was everything I wanted!

I had such a great experience getting my wedding dress altered by Beteena. I needed to have it taken in a bit, hemmed, as well as a bustle added. The dress was definitely a challenge, but came out perfect! I have had nothing but compliments. I would highly recommend! Thanks so much :)

Words can’t describe just how wonderful Beteena was to work with! I had originally planned a 2025 wedding, but I ended up needing to push my wedding date up and only had a little over 3 months to get my dress altered. Beteena squeezed me in to her busy schedule and every appointment with her was so wonderful! I needed my dress hemmed, taken in, a bustle added, and reinforced straps with clasps. She did a phenomenal job and my dress turned out beautifully!

Beteena was wonderful to work with! We had to make some major changes to my dress as it was many sizes too big. She was calm and knowledgeable the whole time. We loved spending our many hours with Beteena during the journey to getting my dress perfect! I think it turned out even better than if it had been the right size to begin with.

Beteena was such a joy to work with. Not only does she have an incredible talent but she is so kind and accommodating.
