My roommate needed a refrigerator and a freezer. They found one they like cost $880 for a French door with an ice maker on it. So then the cost went up to $1100 dollars. The first cost is $20 to pick a room that doesn't make sense. 2. $ 35 for haul old refrigerator, which they usually take away for free. 3. $ 35 for hook up and 4. $110 for delivery. I was made about the haul away and picked a room for the refrigerator . So 2 days later, it arrives on a regular truck. FORD TRUCK, no padding on it, and 1 person to get it off the truck, and he said I don't know why they just sent just me."" I didn't watch all of him taking it off his truck, but it did sound like he dropped it a couple of times. But that company did not care for that employee safety for just sending one person to deliver a refrigerator. So my room, who brought the refrigerator, refused it and called the company headquarters. They told them to come get this refrigerator because the driver said his not taking it back, and this refrigerator is on the sidewalk. Never made in the house so it never made it past the THRESHOLD FOR DELIVERY WHICH IS $110 dollars. So his out of a refrigerator and 1000's of dollars of food. Bad customer service and employee safety

I came to the store, looking for a new washer after mine broke unexpectedly, and trying to get a repair turned into a disaster. The repair company said they couldn’t get the part (not accurate but if I could find the replacement part but they couldn’t, I couldn’t possibly trust them to do the repair properly). So next option was to buy a new washer. I went to American Freight (formerly Sears scratch and dent store) in Bridgeville PA. I found a washer that was pretty much exactly what I wanted for an extremely reasonable amount of money. Zack the salesman was super helpful. I was in luck the washer was to be delivered the next day. I couldn’t believe it. Unfortunately the next day the delivery person called off sick unexpectedly (the day before his vacation started). Naturally I was upset. This meant I would have to wait an extra 10 days for delivery. I had already been without a washer for about five days now, and the thought of having to go to a laundromat was not what I was envisioning. However, to my unexpected delight Sarah the manager found a solution going over and beyond to get a substitute delivery company to fill in. It did push delivery back a few days, but it was better than waiting longer. From purchase to delivery was less than a week. The delivery company called about 20 minutes ahead, which was super appreciated. That allowed me time to move furnishing, etc., and corral my dogs out of their way. Josh and his coworker (John?) couldn’t have been more polite and professional. The washer is currently going through its first (test) cycle. Assuming that everything is good, I could not be more pleased. Highly highly recommend doing business with American Freight!

Bought a new oven and dryer here for almost 2k 2 weeks ago, they have rescheduled the delivery 3 times so far because they can't find anyone to work and now are rescheduling me again for another 2 weeks out in advance, they won't offer any compensation at all and are telling me I can pay a third party to deliver the appliances for higher or come pick it up myself, why would I pay for delivery if I had the option to pick it up myself. If I could give 0 stars I would.Maybe people would want to work for you if you payed more than 15/hour according to the facebook job posting.
