After my latest service visit with Colussy Chevrolet I am unfortunately disappointed. I took my 2018 Colorado in for service on 08/19 & 20/2024 for the following 4 items:
1.) State safety & emissions inspection.
I am satisfied with these items and it passed.
2.) traction control & ABS light would illuminate intermittent.
Problem with a failing wheel bearing which was repaired with a new wheel bearing and ABS sensor.
I am satisfied with this item 2..
3.) There is a squeak which get louder as temperatures increase. Others that periodically ride with me have also heard this from the passenger side.
I am not satisfied with the failure to find and correct this issue after asking to find this for this vehicle a second time.
4.) I also requested to look at & find the cause of my entertainment center working like it has it's own mind. The system changes functions without being changed remotely or by using the touch screen. When this occurs many times it also changes the function on the instrument panel. In most cases the touch screen locks and will only changes functions by touching a blank spot on the screen or by shutting the entire system off and on a few times. When this occurs it also changes functions on the instrument panel. After a cost of $159.00 plus tax, this system was scanned and the codes were cleared and the system was updated. The problem was not resolved.
After speaking with a couple of people face to face with Silverado's, I was informed that they have the same issue. I then did some research about this problem and found that many Chevrolet pick up truck owners are experiencing this same issue.
Is there service bulletin on this issue?
I reply would like a reply to this issue from Colussy Chevrolet in the near future. I have always trusted Colussy to service both of our Chevrolets and would like to keep a good relationship positive.

Went in for PA state inspection and emissions. All went well . Seems like if you can leave your vehicle for the day they can do most anytime with short advance notice. Don wait until last day of the month when its due

Very accommodating. I was overdue for state inspection. When I called for an appointment, they had nothing available but suggested I leave my vehicle the night before they would fit me in during the day and call me when it was completed. I expected not to hear from them before the end of the day but to my surprise, I was called at 2:15pm and had my vehicle back home before 3pm! Great service!

Took my 16’ Chevy box truck here a while ago to quote me on repairs when I had an oil leak. A certified diesel mechanic got back to me and quoted me a “minimum” of $20,000 to replace the engine, assuming nothing else needed repaired. Obviously way too expensive for me. So it sat for almost 2 years while I paid expensive liability insurance on it and struggled as a new, small business. I finally found someone willing to take the risk and buy it for dirt cheap. The person who bought it isn’t even a certified mechanic, just a guy who is good with vehicles. He quickly found that the issue was minor and repaired it and got it running in only a day. Great deal for him, and he was a nice guy so I am happy for him, but it would have saved me an unbelievable amount of money and stress if the diesel mechanic actually put some effort into finding the issue. This almost caused my business to fail and for me to not have enough money to get my fiancée through nursing school. She has since won awards for how great of a nurse she is and has even saved lives. Lives that may have been lost if I didn’t fight for my business, all because of a mechanic at Colussy that must have just not cared to do his job. Moral of this story is genuine trust in a stranger is rare. My fiancée is now working toward her doctorate degree, and my business is becoming pretty successful. I will never take any of my trucks here anymore, and I will make sure none of my colleagues and friends make the mistake of seeking service with Colussy.
