“I meandered into Dr. Tumblety’s on a whimsy and was absolutely blown away. First I was welcomed with an introduction to the stores namesake and then given a tour of a few up and coming additions including a beautiful distillery and a speakeasy called The Storyville Lounge. The speakeasy was incredibly curated with beautiful vintage decor meticulously collected. I enjoyed their Sazerac and felt transported into a different time. This is an absolutely unique and welcoming hidden gem that deserves the main stage in Pittsburgh”
“Great place have been wanting to stop in for years and never do . Finally stopped in much larger than I thought. Great selection of stuff had a little bit of everything I look for. Real friendly staff, I guess the owner. Fair prices also. Will most definitely be back ?”
“WOW! Kinsey is an amazing venue and the owner Whitney and Wedding Coordinator Sami are fantastic! The attention to detail and creative eye are the cherry on top of this spectacular space. The venue was perfect for our wedding!
Things like making sure we had appetizers in the get ready room for after the ceremony , our vendors were able to eat, and we had time to get the perfect photos.
Whitney and Sami went above and beyond for styling our tables and finding the best location for the welcome cocktail table, card / gift table, and seating floor plan”
“I'm a collector and I love this shop as the vendors keep their offering fresh, pricing is reasonable, and staff is very friendly. I never leave without dropping a few hundred in new delights!”

I found two items without prices and immediately the associate contacted the vendor. I was able to leave with both items that day for an awesome price. If you thrift, the average place will not sell you anything without a price tag. Not only will this store follow-up with its vendors, but they knew each one of them by name. That was so meaningful. As a vendor, you are generally overlooked and just a “number” for the business. My experience here really embraced the family feel and I am so happy I stopped. This will be a go to for me for years to come. 10/10!”
“Full of stunning, showstopper pieces. super interesting to walk through, though be be warned they're priced accordingly, you aren't finding a table here for 50 bucks. if you have the cash to spend though, or just like looking through the collection and daydream about working the lottery, it's definitely the place to go!(there's a buzzer next to the door to call someone to let you in, you don't have to call the number if someone's in the building)”
“I love this place, definitely a lot of cool stuff and different booths to scour through. I love looking at the old jewelry and the 2000s toys. Most booths are pretty organized. I did end up with a few pairs of earrings and a S&P set. I'll definitely be back before Christmas to hunt for my famous pink bulbs.”
“I like this antique store a lot, always a good dig. I always come here before Christmas to hunt for old, pink bulbs. Most prices are reasonable, but some booths are pricier than others. Sometimes there are sales throughout the whole store which is a bonus. I've found some amazing stuff here over the years, including snowflake pyrex which my dad collects. Some parts of the store are so crowded it is hard to walk though.”

“So not what we were looking for, I had a misconception, I thought it was more like a salvage store, instead they had beautiful, high end, restored architectural elements like stained glass windows. Gorgeous pieces, but our house is not renovated enough to be shopping here.”
“Great place to visit and some some gems. We visited today during a quick lunch break and will need to return when we have more time to really dig in and browse. So many goodies there!”
“My husband and I were visiting Pittsburgh last week and decided to go antiquing. The Antique Center of Strasbane is one of the best, genuine antique stores we have visited. If you are interested in true antiques and primitives, you know that those items are more expensive and for the reason of preserving historic items. If you are interested in cheap "antiques" then you need to visit your local thrift store. We loved Antique Center of Strasbane and had no problem paying the higher price knowing we were getting actual antiques and primitives.”
“I personally had a good experience selling and getting a fair price for my autograph memorabilia. I see there was a bunch of poor reviews saying “rip off” but I called a day ahead, explained what I had/want for it. I came in the next day and negotiated and got a fair price most definitely. In and out about 5-10 minutes which is very convenient in selling old pieces I no longer wanted. I’d always want a higher price but when you’re asking stores to take your piece and flip the memorabilia on their own time I think expectations need to be reevaluated. Thanks to the store and good service.”
“Very very cool and amazingly curated little antique shop right on Pike St in Canonsburg. More limited hours but this should be a must stop for anyone passing by during open hours. Very cool girly items from so many different decades. Pleasantly surprised with what I found today! Owner was very helpful and sweet!”
“Always awesome finds here. Nice to stroll thru just to look. You never know what you’ll find! I have quit a few niche vintage finds from here. Everyone who works here is super friendly and willing to help.”
