Bought our kitchen cabinets from 84 lumber. They are made very nicely and the price was pretty good. Problem is when they submitted the design we gave them ( one a professional measured and drew up for us) 84 lumbers kitchen design team did not order the back of our kitchen island, and the sides of several cupboards came unfinished. First nobody answered our calls for a week. Then only at our persistance did two men come to our house to see the missing parts and order them for us a month later. First the parts would be in before Christmas, then January 12th. Then the 19th. Now not at all? 84 lumber blames the manufacturer for not sending them but the bottom line is 84 lumbers kitchen design team screwed up and an ex employee placed the order incorrectly. Now three months out we have no island, no backsplash, no microwave oven over our oven. All of it is held up pending these parts. We are left with an incomplete kitchen, no answers, and we paid the bill. DO NOT GET YOUR KITCHEN HERE. If it seems to good to be true...it is.Nobody here seems accountable for anything! Not even one were sorry your being inconvienced. Just finger pointing and no action. Greatly upset!!!!! No business should run this way! I would give ZERO stars if possible!

I called to ask about patio doors. If they had a specific model on the floor. The young man explained what they had, so I planned a stop.Once inside the door, I was greeted by a young man (failed to get his name as I was more focused on doors). He directed me upstairs via the stairs or elevator. I chose the stairs.After entering the showroom, no lights were on in the door area, so I helped myself to the switch.I looked at the doors I was interested in seeing BUT NO ONE approached to ask if I needed assistance. Two different men came into the area but both were taking phone calls. No pause with their call to ask if I needed assistance.I saw what I needed, and as I exited the building, 4-5 employees were on a "smoke break" just outside the front door. I'm not a smoker and try to avoid 2nd hand smoke as much as possible but had to walk right thru it. No one spoke a word to me to ask if I was taken care of.Such a shame that employees don't know how to be courteous & helpful.(Not sure if the young man who greeted me on arrival was with that group).Maybe I'm old school, but that's no way to gain customers.

Called multiple times so they could check stock with Anderson (their supplier) and they do not call back or follow up. Very disorganized and I've been a long standing customer of 84 Lumber. As much as it pains me, Lowes- here I come...

We just walked out of 84 Lumber in Bridgeville after standing there and waiting for an associate to help us. They looked up and never came over to the railings, which we were looking to buy. We had all intentions of buying today. I gave one star only because we saw something that we liked and wanted to buy. Terrible service!!!!!!!

Went to 84 Lumber needing a few basic pieces of lumber for a small home project. At the time I'm writing this review lumber is particularly expensive. Tim was able to find me the little bit of lumber I needed to stay within budget. Also thankful for their veterans discount.

Buyer's beware. If you purchase from 84 Lumber you'll find they do not stand behind their products if there is a problem. I attempted to return a downspout that had deteriorated in less than one year after installation. The holes in the downspout appear to have been eaten away by termites except for one thing, termites won't eat aluminum. This poor grade of metal was less than 6 inches below grade and there has been no chemicals applied to the lawn nor anything poured through the downspout that would eat away the aluminum. The salesman at the Vanport store in Beaver, PA simply shrugged his shoulders when I showed him the faulty product. My only option was to purchase a replacement because all the materials, including gutters were purchased from this store when we built our new home. Don't make the mistake I did of giving 84 Lumber your business. I have contacted 84 Lumber Corporate customer service with no response.
