I have been a tenant at this facility since before Appalachian Storage bought the facility from Allegheny Storage. At the time of that acquisition, the local management had to assist me with setting up my new account because Appalachian Storage's website does not work right. I recently moved out. The website does not give you the option to close your account. So I manually removed my unit from my account, and removed my credit card from the payment method. I also attached a note regarding my intent to cancel my account. Since then, I have received a series of nasty-grams in both text and email for continued rental and payment. I have called and written twice in an attempt to address this. I was not expecting to receive my deposit back, since all landlords are crooks, but I was also not expecting this company to conduct themselves like one of those old free magazine trials that hook you in by making it impossible to cancel your subscription.
Update: it took about 3 weeks, but I finally got confirmation that my account has been closed. The storage units themselves are fine, and reasonably priced, but the website and management is a mess.

I rented a unit here and had it all cleaned out before the end of November, I called the new owners and told them and asked for my deposit and they still have not returned it. I will call them again tomorrow then I guess start finding out what my options are to get it back.

multiple times tried charging me for months that i had already paid, and when i told her i didn't have the receipt for the money order she told me i was basically SOL. can never reach her on the phone, seems like she dodges my calls. i was late on few payments and when i paid in FULL my locker remained locked for weeks (rented a uhaul from Rochester NY and drove to Bradford 2 times just to find it locked by her). i couldn't, and still to this day, cannot reach her AT ALL. ive paid my late fees respectably and i feel like this is the biggest nightmare ive ever encountered, im extremely worried about her auctioning off my belongings and claiming that i didn't pay or contact her. she is very manipulative and i dont recommend ever renting a locker from her. i had to contact the police just to ensure charges would be filed if she ever tries something funny. if i could give 0 stars i would

No issues. I was there dropping something off so I really don't know too much about it. Was easy to get to, Google maps got me right to it.
