Disappointed by how my state inspection was handled today, or should I say lack thereof!
About two weeks ago, I made an appointment for today at 2 pm to have my state inspection done. I showed up at 2:02 pm to the garage to find the door shut and locked. I then proceeded to get in my car, turn around on the pain of a hill, and went into the shop to discuss this matter. I was told the mechanic left for the day?! Granted I was 2 minutes late, I acknowledge that, but if you know Braddock right now, there is a ton of construction going on. I was not contacted in case there was an issue, guy just left. I drove from 30 minutes minutes away, might I add, to show up to this. Guy at front counter didn't try to call mechanic and only offered to reschedule (of course not). No resolution. When John was there, I always had a pleasant experience but I know he moved on to other endeavors. Very upsetting experience today and now I have to reschedule work in order to get inspected next week elsewhere.
Won't be back.

How to stay current in the year 2024? Way to hang-in-there Hock(e--not)y Brothers legacy Auto Parts. Amazing that this business is still in business after what?....40 years in the same place! Kudos to the owner...now get 20 more.

Good to still have a small business in your town, however most of the auto zones & other big auto parts keep it hard for them to keep parts stocked.
