My purchase was only a few dollars but they treated me as if I was spending hundreds.Hardware stores like this don't exist anymore. Called Mars and talked to Bruce, if it wasn’t for him going above and beyond explaining different parts of the oil furnace and walking me through replacing a part my family would have not had heat for days. I am truly grateful for the way they do business. They are very knowledgeable and kind. Bruce goes out of his way to help you. I highly recommend Mars Supply.”
“This store reminds me of Home Depot but a way smaller scale. I can't say they have same quality items but if you live in the area and need something Stanford likely has it. I went for some Christmas decorations and they had quite a bit of them and very cute. I suggest you check what you are buying for damages or missing parts before checking out, a few holiday decorations had this problem when I was there. The staff is nice and willing to help. It is a but of my way so I won't be going all the time but I'll definitely go back for holidays or if I'm in the area and need something.”

“Located on Rt 136 on top of West Newton Hill in Westmoreland County sits this little convenient store filled with what you might need for that quick fix.This Ace Hardware has an employee to help you as soon as you walk in and another one it seems in every aisle. If you're not sure where the item is, they can help. But obviously if they merchandised better it would be easier to find what you need.Pricing is what you would expect from a small hardware store, but you can also find great deals. The employees are very talkative, which is good and bad but they are nothing more than proficient at their job.”

“A little tight backing in to dock from street but not that bad with a 48ft spread axle plus I can dump the air out of my rear axle for tighter turning radius. Whse guys are really nice and efficient. The lady who runs the place is really nice also. All and all nice & friendly people to deliver too.”

“Growing up in Duquesne, Schinks was and still remains a family owned and ran hardware store. They literally have anything you made need from garden supplies to being able to get copies of your keys and so much more, too much to list. You also will find from time through the years the Schinks supporting fellow businesses throughout the monvalley. We were just down there a week ago and our 19yr old purchased 'Rockys BBQ Pit' sauce. He bought the hot sauce one, I believe from the label it's from McKeesport. And our family gives it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.As well as Schinks hardware store ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“If I need an odd or end, this community hardware store has everything my house needs because they know the builders and have the name brands our builders used for a lot of what we need. If you want a drill, or something higher end I would recommend going to Home Depot, but for the odds and ends in your life it's the best spot! Plus, they give a 10% off military discount which makes it easier on your wallet and saves you some gas to drive to another hardware store!”
“I drive out there from Braddock/East Pgh. Prices are reasonable. True building supply yard. Staff always goes above and beyond to help w/ material specs and loading. They can even accommodate if using an atypical vehicle to load sand (5) buckets for smaller jobs.”
“So, this was the first time I have been to a Harbor Freight Tools store and I was impressed. I needed to purchase a click torque wrench to change my window regulator and I found it there, for a great price I might add!I could have spent all day there just looking at everything! But I was on a time crunch because the weather was calling for a ton of rain. The staff was courteous and professional. “This is a great place to find everything you need to refurb or even build a house. Lumber, tile, furniture, lighting, nails, doorknobs, outdoor stuff, doors, windows, cabinets and random everything! Don't buy new, bring your wish list and measurements and check here first. There is another small shop nearby for donated textiles, art supplies, jewelry, wallpaper, and other cool stuff for crafts and creations. Great community store.”
