“Went in on Feb 12 to open a new checking and savings personal account. Made an appointment online for 9AM EST. Door was already opened 5 minutes before, when I arrived. I was greeted by staff, and was took back to a room with the branch manager. Very simple and easy process, only took around 15 minutes. She was very kind, and made sure I understood everything. My family has banked with M&T Bank for over 10 years, i'm very happy with this bank, and this branch. The staff is very kind, and you can get things done efficiently. “Super friendly staff, no nonsense banking. A few online services aren't the easiest to enroll in..not being able to click boxes agreeing to terms..webpage layout design issue I'm guessing. ATM services are a bit outdated like having to remove your card after every transaction as opposed to doing a transaction and being asked if you want more transactions once the current one is complete. Instead you have to get your card back and have to put it back in, enter pin and go through the process again. Checks taking a few days to clear is annoying, especially with instant verification capabilities these days (venmo, etc). But as far as a brick and mortar old school bank, there's none better than Member's First.”
“I had a problem with a dealership that I was working with because they gave me a significantly high interest-rate that a college student would not afford, but fortunately enough, Stephanie was there in in the branch, and she hooked me up with almost half of that interest-rate she was extremely helpful she stayed after hours with me because I came 30 minutes before closing and we did not leave until she got my application submitted for the auto loan. The very next day i was approved.”
“The PNC Bank located on Main Street Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania has been my bank for many years. On Thursday February 29 2024 I had an appointment with Christine to help me resolve issues on my account. Again and again I chose this bank and Christine.. Free checks, bottled water, and investment services, Members 1st FCU has it all with no extra charges or fees like most local banks. We made the switch about 5 years ago with no regrets and many more service locations.”

“This is a 2-part review. Due to WF bank inner workings & despite our best efforts we were forced to drive from Pittsburgh to Carlisle to conduct bank business. Major pain in the butt….however, we made an appointment to speak with a banker (his name escapes me) who could not have been more helpful or professional. He took his time triple checking to make certain we would not need to make a return trip to conclude our business with Wells Fargo.”

“I love ACNB Bank in Dillsburg Pa. Everyone is amazing ? ?. They are so nice and treat you like a person not just a number.They have a great sense of humor too..If you are having any problems or need assistance with anything they will help you and get the job done all with a smile.This is by far the best bank I have been to. I could dive 5 miles to another ACNB Bank but instead I driver 18 miles just because of the people who work there.If you're considering a bank make ACNB Bank your choice and if possible make the branch in Dillsburg Pa your bank. You won't regret it and like me you will find every person who works there great.”
