David set up a Taylor Academy 12e for me that when purchased had a high action. Outstanding job. The action is perfect now. A great person to work with.

David did a phenomenal job resetting a bridge that was lifting on a 40+ year old Guild 12-string acoustic. He was able to complete the repair in half the time estimated and his prices are a bargain considering the quality of his work. After the repair, both the volume and articulation of the guitar was dramatically improved. It plays better than new.Five stars is an understatement. There are too few craftsmen of his caliber left in the world today.

David is incredible. He got me in the week I called, fixed everything on site quickly, talked me through how to deal with issues in the future and didn't charge nearly enough. I can't say enough wonderful things about him.

I have a Martin guitar that was repaired by David about a year ago. It was a warranty repair covered by Martin. To say the guitar came out great after the repair, is an understatement. The guitar had a rather large crack in the back, and it threw the whole guitar out of whack. After David fixed it, and advised on how to best care for the instrument in the future, it looked brand new. Not only that, but after repairing the crack, he checked every detail of the guitar to make sure it was set up properly (way better than factory attention). David took a negative experience, and turned it into a positive. I would take an instrument into him for repair, in the future, because he cares about every little detail, and is a professional. Far exceeded my expectations.

This guy is great and I don't use that term to describe a service provider lightly! In fact, he's a Master Luthier (someone who builds and repairs string instruments that have a neck and sound box, like a guitar). Not only does he provide excellent service but he does it at a fair price. I brought him my son's electric guitar to have a string replaced. I called and left a message, which he promptly returned to set up a same-day appointment. Not only did he fix the guitar string while I waited, he recommended a few places to get additional strings, and showed me how to change them myself when it happens again. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes and it only cost me $2.00! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of guitar repairs!
