While we did not go inside, I wanted to review this location and let others know about an annual event. A Walk to Remember our Fallen takes place on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This 5k is an opportunity to support a local Centre County organization that provides care packages for deployed service members. We participated in the second annual walk, you can register online or come the day up and sign up. There are local and state military organizations for Veterans and survivor’s families in attendance.
It is a deeply moving occasion that should not be missed. The grounds of the Museum provide for a beautiful back drop.

If you love to take a quick walk in nature, this could be your best option. Parking is little tricky, if you use the navigation for ‘WWII Memory Wall’ google will make you park on the street.

Visited the outside of the museum, but unfortunately, they were already closed for the day when we went by. Really thought the tanks were so cool! Can't wait to go back one day!

What makes a good docent, one who provides a historical interpretation of the facts during the tour. Today I witnessed perhaps the worst docent I have ever had the of being near during a tour. He either misrepresented what he was telling us, implementing his on personal ideas either political or his misunderstanding of what actuality occurred. As a historian, I was appalled by what I heard. He misrepresented facts about WWI, WWII, the Navy, Marines the Coast Guard and the women's role during WWII. His scary representation of where we are in the world today as it relates to nuclear weapons without mentioning where we were during the Cold War was ridiculous. I could go on and on about what he said, but when a docent does not end the tour without asking are their any questions is a strong indicator that he was afraid of questions he might incur. The individual at the main desk told us he was one of the best guides they have. Enough said!

We had a bad experience with the crude staff. Tried to watch the short film before we walked thru but couldn't hear because of the noise outside the door, so I got up and closed the doors. The old lady behind the desk where you get your tickets opened the doors to the noise in the lobby. I told her in a loud voice we can't hear. The man with her that started the film told her to open only one door. I thought the doors were to keep noise and light out during a film? We took a quick walk thru and left. Time to get new staff. We really enjoy museums and frequent all the time. Will not be back and we will spread the bad word!

Very interesting. Not very big. There is a little Vietnam camping outside that offers a small tour.

Great local museum, I highly recommend it. The exhibits are enjoyable and it's reasonably priced. Great green space outside and very well designed memorials.

It was nice and cool on the hot Pennsylvania day. The movie was very informative. You can look but do not touch. Plenty of gifts to choose from in the gift shop.

Lots of cool facts to learn in this museum! They're are amazing examples of both armored and unarmored vehicles and weapons from all of the major wars. There are plenty of memorials along the walking trails outside and beautiful nature along these trails, in general it is just a beautiful environment. My only complaint would be that some of the information boards outside are unreadable because of how worn they are, but other than that the place is nice and well kept. The staff are also very nice and helpful.
