The Blue Bell, PA postal service has not scanned my package for the 2nd time. I was given 3 to 4 different excuses as to why my package wasn’t scanned. The supervisor I spoke with today acted like she did not want to help me. One of the employees said to her that it is becoming an issue that packages are not being scanned. The excuse was maybe the scanner was broken, they missed scanning the package, or I was told the first time my package wasn’t scanned that trainees were working in the back and they did not know packages needed to be scanned prior to putting them on the truck. Today I was told to wait till it reaches the next facility and they will scan it. I know from experience that is not happening. The supervisor then said she could manipulate the system and put it in as scanned. I never asked her to do that. After giving her my tracking number she said she called someone and they said she could not enter the tracking as scanned. All I wanted to know is if my package was at the other facility. I’m sick of the excuses. Especially when I took my package inside the post office and put it on the counter with the other prepaid packages. Normally, I had been getting a receipt. I will never do this again. I spoke to another person dropping off a package who said he has had a lot of problems at that post office. Something needs to be done. Either they need to better train their people or they need to replace them with competent people.

I just wanted to speak with a real person but their crap phone service tries to redirect you through channels that don’t fit what I needed. Just have someone answer the phone once and a while…

Not sure why the bad reviews... I have been in here several times now and the staff has been exceptionally pleasant, and the service was quick.
That said, if you're coming in at a busy time, and you see a lack of staff at the counter, the only one to blame is postmaster general DeJoy (you know, the one who received his position thanks to his political donations), as he has been cutting positions en masse across the nation.

The worst post office ever! They have 4 counters and never have more than 1 person working. They truly don't care. I hear they are short staffed but that's been for years

All packages dropped off in the Kiosk bins got scanned after 3 weeks or so causing major delays in delivery time. It's been a nightmare since November 2024 and has been worse.

The slowest post office ever.
Its just horrible how federal employees don't understand what every day workers lives are like.
1 employee at the front desk, 12 people in line with 3 other employees not stepping up.
This is NOT good customer service.
They need a system like FedEx or UPS.
Please someone save the USP from this awful system.
24 mins to send 1 package!

Was in and out in 10 minutes. Did my fingerprints here. The woman at the counter was cheerful and competent.

Went here today for walk in service for passport. Started the day with a trip to the court house to do a passport renewal. They notified us the door they no longer offer passport and gave us the address to this post office. Got there and went to the area for the passport. There was a poster on the wall that said will no longer be offering walk-in service for passport starting April 3rd. Today was Feb 24th. After waiting for 10 mins the lady said go to the front to make an appointment. Went there the lady was soo rude and didn’t even want to talk straight said we don’t offer that here. So I told her the poster says after April 4th. I requested her to please check with the other lady.. as I called out of work and made my daughter miss school for the passport renewal. The lady from the back says sorry we are understaffed can’t do it. Like what. I could have waited longer but Bcaz ur unstaffed u refuse service. Anyways I felt both ladies were very rude and unprofessional. Very very disappointed.

I only go here because it’s conveniently located near me. Some of the rudest most miserable people I have ever encountered. Be prepared to wait a long time especially if you think you are going to be quick. Oh and they charge you to tape your boxes when packing. Bring your own!

so i own a small artisan business and need reliable shipping for my loyal customers
when coming here the first couple of times i had so much anxiety and was rushed. i actually had to tell an employee i was mentally ill (bipolar 1) so they could help me, not rush me or treat me like an idiot.
im usually not keen on telling strangers my mental status but if it gives them empathy to be a little more patient so i dont have a full-blown anxiety attack in public, i will lol
after building rapport with the staff, they were much more patient and helpful, now im greeted with smiles and warm hellos. no more anxiety going there!
i notice many of the employees know the customers by first name so building rapport and seeing their faces often helps

I would give zero star if there is such an option. Horrible service!
