Scheduled an appointment in advance, left work, for me to arrive and then tell me they are closing early for the day. There needs to be proper communication with patient.

Employees seem miserable and have zero customer service skills. They have no idea why people are there, but typically, if you're getting bloodwork, you are seeing a doctor. No one wants to see doctors, so at the very least they could be pleasant. The facility seems outdated with nowhere for people to place their personal belongings while they are being serviced. No hooks or tables, even in the rest room

Pretty average location...
I had an appointment and waited about 25 minutes after arrival. I chose the "text me" option and was waiting outside. After about 20 minutes, I went inside because I really needed to use the restroom. I was impressed that there was actually someone at the front desk whom I could ask (unlike other, more poorly rated locations I've been to). The front desk lady looked exhausted, dark circles under her eyes and all. But she was pleasant and made sure I wasn't expecting a urine test before pointing me in the direction of their toilet.
As soon as I was done in the restroom, the same lady immediately walked me back to draw my blood. She was a skilled phlebotomist - no problems there. I was surprised and a bit perturbed to find out she was the one and only person in the building at the time. She said it was because they are closing soon, but I think LabCorp should do better. What if there was an emergency? She shouldn't be expected to be ready for any emergency while also closing up shop for the day, all completely alone...
I was also disappointed that my information (name, DOB, tests being drawn) were not verified with me at time of draw. I work in healthcare, too, so I know that is standard procedure, even when it may seem "obvious" who the patient is. I took it upon myself to glance at the sample stickers to make sure they had my name on them. Again, I work in healthcare, so I know - mistakes do happen! Luckily, everything looked correct. I was a bit confused why there were two tubes drawn, though, as to the best of my knowledge I only had one lab ordered... But I didn't have a chance to ask, because as soon as we were done, she walked me out the front door so she could lock up, and I didn't want to hold her up... Oh well, hopefully it was the right test. I'll find out in my portal soon enough!
P.S. Kudos to LabCorp's online portal. It's easy to use and vastly superior to Quest's. No problems there so far. Plus it quickly and efficiently routes results to Epic-using providers directly via CareEverywhere.

I went to get blood work today and it was the worst experience that I've ever had. This was the first time I've endured racism directly in my face. I was not acknowledged by the two white women that were there. Instead, the older white lady asked me am I dropping something off, not a hello may I help you instead she said "are you dropping something off". I answered the lady no I'm here for blood work and she walked away! It didn't stop there they assisted the too white people that were in front of me and disappeared. I sat in the waiting room for more than 10 min minutes, thinking to myself ok I self-checked in and they saw me, so be patient and sit. After sitting so long I realized that they had forgotten me so I went to the window and said, hello is anyone still here? The older white lady came up to the front and refused to speak, so I proceeded to say hi Hello hello can you hear me? The lady proceeds to say what are you here for and do you have orders. I said, "no and that was rude I spoke to you multiple times and was not acknowledged", she said "we were busy". "There we 2 patients ahead of me that was acknowledged and seen within 5 min, you can't even make eye contact or speak to me"? It's a shame as a black woman I am experiencing this and I am in health care. That was a horrible experience and it will be reporting the ignorance and racism I experienced in my face today! If you're black stay away they don't respect us!

My least pleasant experiences at this location have still been better than the best experiences at other locations. Christal is quick, efficient, and a really good phlebotomist.

Unprofessional, condescending staff. I expected more from a medical office. We’ll try a different location next time.

Came here twice for blood work; the first time for two, the second time for 6 tests. Made an appointment for each time. Fast process, kind workers.

They chastised me for coming in at 2pm, after i asked if i could come in at 2, and they said yes. That was really weird. But other than that, very good blood draw experience!

The unfriendliness of the staff at the information desk ruined my mood during rush hour. He was a very bad person who did not have the basics of dealing with people.

Great experience, check in lady was friendly and helpful. The phlebotomist (complete gentleman) was so smooth I barely felt a pinch. Would definitely come back for my routine bloodwork and recommend it.
