My parents conducted business for many years with Posen for propane and C02 tank refills, regulators and tank retests. They always spoke highly of their friendly service and competitive prices. That was a number of years ago when they lived in the Blue Bell area. When it came time for me to install a propane tank and attain service, I looked to Posen for that service based on my parents recommendation. Since they dealt with Posen, the business changed hands to the son. What a different experience I had with them. I find them highly disorganized and providing 3rd rate customer service. As I write this on November 12, 2020, I have been trying to get them to make good on their empty promises to "get me on the schedule" for a propane tank installation. I have been trying since late September to have them make good on that promise. On the first call I spoke with a woman that provided a quote for tank rental and propane gas. I accepted her quote and she advised that "John" would call me to get me on the schedule. Two weeks later - no call. I call back and was promised a call back from John. John calls later in the day and attempts to find me on their schedule. No luck. He said he'd look at the schedule and call back with a date for install. Two weeks go by - no call. I call back and speak with the woman again who promises John will call me back. John calls later and promises he will get me on the schedule for THAT week. Well, he finally did do that. He called Thursday of that week and left me a voice mail that he was on the way over with the tank. No forward scheduling, no warning at all. That would have been great if I weren't 150 miles away from my house. I was nice enough to call the office and let them know I would not be home so they didn't run out for no reason. Since then I have called 3 more times to get scheduled with no return call from John "Jr". After multiple attempts to do business with these people, I am done! If you check my profile, I love to give positive reviews. I think this might be my first negative one. John S Posen absolutely deserves my contempt. I will never recommend this business to anyone in my professional or personal circle.

Fast easy delivery. The driver did a great job giving me a few min notice of his arrival. Had equipment with him to easily get the tanks off the truck and into my studio. Fair prices and quick delivery!

Our office has been a client of John S Posen for 30+ years! Their prices are reasonable and their service is impeccable. As a dental office it’s important that we work with people we can count on and you definitely get that with this company. Highly recommend.

I haven't been here for years since I stopped using a propane BBQ, but I needed a co2 tank re-tested and filled. So I dropped it off on Friday and picked it up on Monday, excellent service at a competitive price. Too many small businesses like this have been bought out by the big corporate gas suppliers. Do yourself and your community a favor support John Posen and locally owned businesses like it.Additionally if you have a new grill with a new tank you should never swap it out for a blue rino or amerigas refill for three reasons, 1) you're swapping a 12 yr tested tank for one that may out of date since the big swap companies due spotty checks. 2) you're not getting a full tank and it says that right on the disclaimer and 3) you're paying a premium because the tank is only 3/4 full.Keep your own tank and get it filled, its quick and easy.

We recently switched to propane . We chose to receive services from John S Posen because we received a good recommendation from a close friend. The set up process was easy - even tho I was very uneducated in the propane world - John assured me to not worry he would take care of it. Which he did! Today MontCo declared a snow emergency- and who ran out of propane - unknowingly - THIS GIRL! — who came to save the day? JOHN S POSEN! I am forever grateful he was able to deliver with such short notice - in the snow!!!! Now my family and fur babies will be warm for the storm! Thank you so much to John S Posen company - I will continue you to refer friends and family to them! Their service is spectacular!

Very pleased with Posen, they came around within a few hours of my calling, replaced the faulty valves in my above ground propane tank and filled it.Not only was the service good, but the prices for both the service and gas were very fair. Will be on my rolladex for later in the year when I need more gas.

Advertised good prices. Bought a house with a full tank with Amerigas that I didn't want to use. I called John Posen last spring to get a replacement. He said to wait until the tank ran low or Amerigas took it away. I called in October when at 25% and he said to call back when it was at around 10% and that they get people in within a day or two. I wanted to do it then, he said to wait. I called today, now below 10% and they said they're too busy to come soon and can't help being busy. Going elsewhere, removed permanently from my call list.

I got my 5lb CO2 tank for my kegerator filled for $20. Service was quick but $20 is way, way too much for CO2. For reference, I used to get it filled at a fire extinguisher retailer/recharger for $6.Going to look at welding supply places.

For a dedicated propane facility their prices are outrageous. Cash only as well. During a power outage I went to posen because my local u- haul didn’t have power. Posen charged me $46. The next day u-haul had power on and the same exact refill was $26. Don’t waste your time and money going to Posen!!!

Nice people and quick refill my 5lb CO2 tank. I rated with 3 because they charged $20.0 to refill my tank but in other placed it cost only $10.0 so I will not come back again.
