Update to my previous comments about this insurance agency. After shoppi, I found far better coverage at a lower rate with another company. I made 4 or 5 attempts to contact Ed Diamond (or a team member) to cancel my policy. I talked with one junior associate, and Ed never returned my calls. In the meantime Farmers has send me a barrage of correspondence about my expiring policies. I guess the agent only cares about getting clients (Ed inherited me), and doesn’t realize he needs to treat them well (even if they move on) if he wants a decent reputation.

Terrible.Ed and his office quoted a premium for a policy that started on a specified future date; confirmed twice that the rate was locked; then tried to charge us hundreds of dollars more when it came time to pay. When we called them out on it, they confirmed that they told us that the rate was locked and, later on the same call, that we didn’t understand that the rate couldn’t be locked. What a load of s###.No attempt at an apology or to make it right. If anything, a faux-polite, self-satisfied contempt that we could possibly be angry at their mistake.Take your business elsewhere - plenty of agents out there, Farmers included, that are willing to stand by their word.

I would give them zero if I could. My father passed away and we are dealing with a lot and they were absolutely awful, zero compassion, zero help, and completely dropped the ball on documents we had sent to them months prior and then had the audacity to make us fix it all through the customer service hotline....hours and hours....and then sent a refund check to a house that was sold (which hello they knew because they refunded the policy, and payable to the deceased) I will also be calling a corporate number to express my concerns as well. Absolutely awful stay away from this agency!

We’ve been with Edward Diamond/Farmers for several years and have been so pleased with the pricing and service. We’ve bundled autos and home resulting in a nice discount. We bought two cars last year and their responsiveness with the car dealer was perfect. Somebody is always there to answer the phone (sadly amazing these days), and everyone is super professional and responsive.

The worst customer service!! Been with them for three years but will not be staying. They do not return calls and do not have a reasonable explanation for refunds with Farmer's pocketing the extra money. When you call the 800 number it is equally bad.
