I have NEVER had such a terrible experience at a provider’s office. My doctor is impossible to reach, her medical staff is beyond rude, it was appalling. The first few visits or interactions I experienced, I thought it was me, I was a new patient and had to get used to the process - no, not the issue. The issue is the constant negative attitude given to me upon asking important and relevant questions. Lack of ability to reach my doctor and lack of care trickling all the way down to the receptionist.

The doctors have been wonderful, however dealing with the administration of this office has been awful. Save yourself the headache, and find a more personable office where you’re not just a number.

Kind, friendly and responsive office staff. And always a quick follow up from my provider, whether in person or tele-health.

No star at all. No one answers the phone. Good luck. Go to patient first.

Started ss a new patient this month. I was impressed by the efficiency and welcoming manner that the front office staff showed. I was seen immediately, and a thorough review of my medical history and needs was taken. Friendly staff all-around. Definitely would recommend.

The absolute worst place to go for a primary care. They treat you with no respect and ridicule you for not getting there at the exact time. Pray to god you get there 5 mins late, they'll make you wait another 5 minutes and then say sorry it's been 10 mins past your appointment time we had to cancel it. They make you late and say it's your fault.

Dr. Romanzo has been my doctor for years and is the best. HOWEVER getting through to him...or worse yet, trying to schedule an appointment through the Jefferson "call center" is a nightmare. Pity. They are giving a great medical practice a bad rap because of their lack of service.

Google directions took me to building whose storefront is shown in pics .. BUT that is not correct building!!Had to drive around complex and look for indiscreet sign (should be bright or something because not easy to see), that said Jefferson Health. Then you enter building with elevator and stairs and go up a flight. Take sharp right and follow signs. Once at my desired location, everything went smoothly but thank goodness I was early!

Medical offices are poorly marked and hidden within a large development in Blue Bell. Once you get to the building, even more difficult to find the actual practice. Front desk is rude and Dr. McGinley inattentive. You are much better off going to Patient First.

I have been a patient at Ambler Medical Associates for 5 years. There has been a constant turnover of doctors. I agree with the other posts. Its hard to reach someone and make an appointment. I had my appointment scheduled 4 weeks out and then received a call last minute they had to reschedule. Then on the rescheduled appointment another 3 weeks out they arbitrarily changed the time up an hour with very little notice or discussion. When I called to change it back the receptionist was very short and did not provide any reasonable options except push it out another 4 weeks.

The other reviews are absolutely correct.Making appointments is a nightmare, but getting a copy of your medical records might have been worse. I waited weeks for a callback, but didn't get it, so I followed up twice. Then, I sat on hold for 20 minutes to have a 30-second conversation with a receptionist who had no intention of guiding me. Over a few calls, one person told me to fax, the other told me to come in person, and a third told me to mail it via USPS.Everything from the Abington Health Online Portal (myAHLink) to the customer service support (long wait times) to the care provided by the physicians is subpar.I do not recommend Ambler Medical. We are people, not patients, and they would do well to treat us like it.

Would not recommend. Hold times on the phone are outrageous. Never get the same doctor twice, and frankly they don't seem to care. I always get the impression they are trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible.

I have been a patient here for about 4years. I have been pleased with the providers I have interacted with however... it is next to impossible to make contact with office personnel to schedule an appointment. I've waited 55minutes on hold and have not yet reached any office staff. Probably will go to an urgent care facility. Wouldn't recommend this practice because of problems with making an appointment.
