A smaller Giant but we had lunch in town before grocery shopping. We came in on a Monday afternoon and the vegetables and fruit section was pretty picked through and some things were not available. Other than that they were fully stocked and had some great deals. We were basically just stocking up on the staples for the winter along with our normal shopping. I have to say that our visit to meat counter was awesome. The gentleman working it was hilarious and should honestly be the employee of the month (hence the 4*). He was also super knowledgeable about the meats and how to prepare and cook them. Another huge plus is now they carry Black Rifle Coffee so I can pick some up between my shipped orders if needed.

There is nothing better than free gas when the store has products you can use for reward gas points. ⛽️ Always have something off gas...50 cents to a dollar. Once in a while we get free. ?

They had the BEST in-house guacamole until they recently discontinued it. Now it comes from a distributor, sold in a smaller container, half the size as the original one (1LB) for the same price $5. I gave it a try, unfortunately, it was disgusting and disappointing to say the least. Flavorless, no spicy kick, and did I mention they sell it in a smaller container for the same price? In my honest opinion, this was a bad deal for the customers and for business. You were lucky if they had it in stock most times. When it was made in-house it was regularly sold OUT. Now since they no longer make it in-house the product just sits there untouched. They already sell flavorless guacamole, I do not understand why they felt the need to add this to the bunch. This was their attempt to cut corners to minimize costs probably or they became greedy. I will not be buying their guacamole anymore. Unless they bring back the original. Such a shame.

I do my weekly shopping every Sunday. I use the self checkout. I purchase 6 pks. of soda everyweek. The same woman questions me everytime when I'm done paying for my groceries if I paid for the soda. On 7/2/23 she asked me again if I paid for my soda. I asked her why every week why do you ask me that? She said she doesn't. I said but you do. I understand she has a job to do, but every time she asks me. A guy next me to had a case of water she didn't ask him if he paid for it. I might as well go to the register with a cashier so I do not get asked every single week if I paid for my soda. We were there on 7/2/23 @ 12pm at the self checkout. I rather shop at weis than be asked every single time I go. If that is the case then she can scan my soda so she doesn't continue to ask me every week.

This Giant has friendly helpful staff and they are doing their best to keep the shelves stocked during COVID and all the shortages that is causing. I can almost always get what I need and they staff is happy to help find something if I can't find it myself. This is my go to store for all my food needs.

It is no wonder COVID is spreading like wildfire. The cashier today was wearing a substandard mask that was not even covering his nose. I had to tell him his mask had slipped for him to pull it back up properly.
