BEWARE! CHECK your accounts for service fees! CLOSE any money market accounts or interest bearing accounts - the interest paid is pennies and you will be charged junk fees if the balance falls below minimums. Open an account with Fidelity Investments to earn the highest interest. The banks are predatory and will rob you blind, only use them for FREE checking accounts.

I do not recommend this bank. Last month, I visited this bank after losing my debit card (regrettably, a frequent occurrence for me) and the Scranton branch advising me that I could not get a new card printed because my maiden name was on my account. The account was discrepant from my license- which reflected my married name (keep in mind, I’m married since 2016). I previously had with no issues with the name over the course of the past 7 years) and had multiple other debit cards issued, deposits, withdrawals, etc. without issue. However no problem, I understand the need to have the discrepancy corrected.That being said, I brought my marriage license on May 4th to the Peckville branch, as advised, for a new debit card, a withdrawal and to update my name. Needless to say, when I went to the branch yesterday the name was not updated despite my visit on May 4th.Now, patience wearing thin because I’m on a very tight schedule and this was my second time being given a hard time about a name change even after following their protocol, I was asked to provide another card with my maiden name as proof of identity for which I did.I was then told after providing what they had asked for; that it wasn’t enough and I again needed to make another trip to get my marriage license, for them to update the account as they shuffled through paperwork behind a desk trying to find the copy of the marriage license from May 4th. At this point, I’m done. I requested the checking account be closed. I had no more time for excuses, or a treasure hunt for documentation previously provided.I used this bank only for paycheck deposits and auto withdrawals for some designated personal bills (so minimally) and I wouldn’t even recommend them for that. I use other banks such as PS Bank and Dime Bank for Savings and Business Checking and there is just much more empathetic, competent and professional staff there.I encourage PNC to review the aforementioned feedback and coach their employees on following procedures universally, customer service as well as the importance of customer retention. You missed the mark.

Poor customer service. I tried calling several times and after going through the automated menu to speak to a branch representative, I am placed on a silent hold for 9 minutes until the call disconnects. No one ever picks up.

Went for consolidation loan and was told that 2 of my 5 credit cards were using too much of my available credit..didn't mention a word about the two that have 0 balances though..bankers and attorneys are a very close race when it comes to my personal opinion on who I dislike more than the other..I truly don't know if one is better than the other but it looks like I will be heading to wells Fargo shortly..

Your average bank. No drive-through service. Only outdoor service is an Atm. They have one inside a locked door as well. Much cleaner than the outside. Outside is usually covered in spiders. Resistant next door parks in the drive through lanes when they are closed. Parking lot in back has craters for pot holes.

I've done my banking at PNC Bank and I haven't had any problems. The people work at the bank are great.
