Melissa and Ray were amazing! Such a sad day for our family loosing our family dog Zoe. They made us at ease and we’re very compassionate. We are very thankful for their pet services. I would recommend to anyone that has a cherished pet.

We used Shoemaker Funeral Home to cremate our dog Nyx when he passed. Everyone I spoke to was not only informative but empathetic and consoling. Melissa went above and beyond to return our sweet boy to us and was above accommodating. Having people treat us as such when going through such a hard time, made the process so much easier and we felt our dear Nyx was in great hands.

We lost our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Alex, before her seventh birthday. It's been a hard, emotional, anxiety filled few weeks knowing the cancer took her ability to walk. Thank you Shoemaker for the making the cremation process easy, and treating Alex and us like family. Long overdue review. We lost our beloved dog-Pipa 2 days after this past Christmas. Melissa was beyond caring, thoughtful, and understanding with our pet cremation. She made a horrible situation a little easier to cope with and handled everything not only professionally but heartfelt. Thank you to Melissa and the Shoemaker Family.

It's been 3 months since we had to say goodbye to our 13-year old black lab CJ. Losing a pet has impacted our family more than I ever imagined that it would.The staff at Five Points Vet and Shoemaker Funeral Home brought us so much comfort and peace during such a difficult time.I was so surprised and grateful for how fast the process took. We had CJ's ashes returned to us in less than 36 hours and Karen went above and beyond in order to make it as easy on us as possible (She also gave me the most amazing hug and words of advice as I prepared to speak with my kids about the cremation process).I will recommend Shoemaker to anyone who finds themselves in need of their services. They are professional and lead with compassion at every step.

I appreciate the entire team with the cremation of my dog Buster. He was very dear and near to my heart and he was at the best crematory to be cremated. Shoemaker’s does a great job for their customers and are the best ever. Thank you so much for taking care of Buster and getting his remains back to me in a timely matter. You all are the best!

When our Sweet Girl Daisy (yellow lab) passed suddenly and unexpectedly, Shoemaker was there to help us. The process, while emotionally painful, was smooth and rather quick for her to be cremated and returned to us to bring her home.

Rick Shoemaker and their entire staff were very professional and sympathetic in handeling the cremation of our beloved family dog. Rick met me at the Veterinary clinic for the appointment just to make sure everything was taken care of. Even though I had only called him a few hours before. Although it was a very sad time the support of the Shoemaker staff helped ease the experience. Thank you for being there.

Thank you for doing everything just right for the passing of our dog brandy..we had 2 other dogs pass in the last 2 years and cremated another place..it Might seem like little things to some but the clips of hair were bigger and the pawprint was bigger and nicer than the others. May not seem like much to some but meant the world to me. Your staff is very kind and much appreciated and your timing with return was great to have her home so soon..thank you for everything

Shoemaker funeral home, family and staff have always treated our loved ones with dignity and so professional and courteous with our guests during funerals. Our latest my Uncle. Finding a vest he had given them 30 years ago that he wanted buried in. Everything was wonderful.

We tragically lost our dear Holly due to a traffic accident. I called shortly after 9am and talked to them. Extremely sympathetic, they took Holly immediately and called me in 5 hours so we could pick her up and bring her home forever! We HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you for all you did, walked me through the process, understanding the loss of a pet, answering all questions I had. Thank you so much!!

Mother in law passed early on a Sunday and plan A, body donation, fell through. Shoemaker Funeral Home came out on very short notice and quickly removed her body with dignity.Also handled the cremation and even posted an obituary on their website.The whole crew was professional, caring, and quite easy to deal with. Also don't feel like I got jacked on price.Would definitely use them again.
