We had 560 pounds of old roofing materials in our trailer and we were slowly putting it in our trash. We needed the trailer for something other than a dumpster. So, I called Pioneer Crossing Landfill and they were very helpful. I saved on our new roof by doing it myself so the $218 fee for the first ton was worth it. They did refer us to places farther away that would be cheaper which was very customer friendly. If you do as we did you will be driving on the landfill. No problem with the truck drivers and the guys on the hill directed us perfectly. Thank you Pioneer Crossing!

Free drop off of paper, cardboard and junk metals. Helpful after our move to get all of the boxes and old metal stuff out of the garage. Break down your boxes, people! The paper container was almost "full" due to big empty boxes taking up space.

Would not recommend for homeowner waste. Minimum is $190 for the first ton. Berks Transfer is $50. I wish they would make this clear on their website, rather than driving out to find out it’s a ripoff

Went here with my truck with a cut up rug and a few small parts of flooring, they wanted $120 starting for the first ton! How about you put that that on a damn website rather then people driving out of their way to find out your going to rip them off!

I haven’t been here but my kids went on field trips with school and they had a good time. It’s a dump that seems to be up on environmental regulations. I find it nice that they accommodate the children of the community the way they do. Any business that caters to our children gets my thumbs up.

Would not recommend for dropping off home waste. In our case, we had to drive to the top of trash mountain to unload. Our pickup truck was not prepared to drive over loose garbage, large pot holes, semi-crushed cinder blocks, and syringes.

The first thing that greeted me was a cornucopia of smells and plethora of signs. This was more than a landfill. It was a public-image and environmental experience. I never thought I would learn so much about leachate, blue medical-waste bags, stiff landfill lining polyethylene, and die-cast construction toys. For $5, I received a luxury landfill bus tour, 3 slices of pizza, a shirt, a frisbee, and an eraser. Talk about a bang for my buck. If you happen to be passing through Pioneer Crossing on your way to something more interesting, I highly recommend this DEP-certified location.
