Sadie was absolutely lovely and shared with us information about Amish life and really kept our kids engaged (ages 6 and 8). This was our absolute favorite activity of the day and I can see why people sometimes visit twice for buggy rides! (Charlie the horse was awesome too!)

They give a nice buggy ride with a personal touch. We did the 30-minute tour, and it went well. Next time, we plan on the 60-minute tour.

We enjoyed our buggy ride!! It was so peaceful. Our driver answered all our questions and did a great job telling us more about the Amish culture. I made a short little video about our buggy ride. What a great experience! We visited in October 2023 and it was a beautiful fall day, perfect for a tour. Marlena, our driver, was wonderful and answered any questions we asked, as well as showing us different sites around Lancaster and Bird-In-Hand. The stop at the store was also great! You can’t go wrong with Amish baked goods ? Abe’s Buggy Rides is definitely the choice for tours around Amish country.

Wonderful! A moment to slow down and enjoy. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The playground and farm animals are just the thing to take you back to a simpler time. I highly recommend the longer rides as they stop at the bakeshop where you can purchase out of this world homemade baked goods. A quintessential must in Amish country.

Website AND recording on the phone says that they are open. We went to have a ride around 340 and the sign outside says they are closed. Very upsetting.
