First day of move-in I had roaches crawling everywhere/dead, half of amenties in kitchen was broken, stains around the house and on the carpet from previous resident. Took a week for them to help me with half of those problems, and a month for pest control to respond to my bug issue. Didn't even have a bedroom door and didn't have screen doors/windows for almost 2 months, and I know residents who have been waiting nearly 6+ months for maintenance to do their job. Absolutely ridiculous if I'm paying almost 1600 a month, all this should've been done already.

Five Stars for Valley Park Apartments in Bethlehem, PA!
I was absolutely flabbergasted by my first phone call to Valley Park Apartments. From India, I spoke with Erika for 18 minutes. She was incredibly kind, patient, and provided detailed assistance on the application process and document uploading. Her phenomenal support, especially for international residents like me, made a world of difference.
During the application process, I had multiple interactions with Zach. He’s a fantastic person and very helpful in processing my application. Zach assisted me with uploading the necessary documents and answered every single question I had. I spoke with him more than 10 times, and each time, he helped without any hesitation, going above and beyond.
As an international resident, I’ve had bad experiences with other landlords, but Valley Park Apartments stands out for their patience and understanding. Even though my English is not perfect, they listened and assisted me with great care.
Lastly, I spoke with Terry, the property manager. She epitomizes patience and understanding. She quickly responded to my application in a positive manner.
The day I arrived and received the keys from Terry and Zach, they welcomed me with exquisite chocolate chip cookies. I hope this review reaches the senior management.

Issues are addressed. Other than hot water at times in the winter this place is well maintained and addresses any issues pretty quickly

I really didn’t want to leave them a bad review but they advertised on their website they had immediate move ins but once I applied and paid $250 they called me and said the apartment wouldn’t be ready for another month. I had to cancel my application because I needed an immediate move in like it was advertised. They refunded me $200 but not my $50 application fee because they said it was non refundable. Now I need to go through my bank and dispute because they are the reason I had to look elsewhere. If it was advertised correctly then I would have never applied. It’s not fair to steal someone’s money when my application was not ran until after I asked for it to be canceled once they provided the updated move in date.

Office staff have always been great to deal with. Aion has been a problem from the start. They've always raised my rent more then the value of the apartment. I've had the CLASSIC apartment version since I moved in. The previous management companies were always much more understanding of the value. Since Aion took over, my rent has increased more times then the previous management companies ever had. At least $50 each renewal.Previously maybe $35 or less with each renewal.All this is just another reason I have decided to move out.

We have been living at Valley Park since this summer and we really like it! I would give it a 4.5/5. We moved from the west coast and weren’t able to tour in-person, but don’t regret picking this complex. The current management has been very responsive and helpful at making us at home, and the maintenance team is wonderful. The neighborhood feels very clean and safe, very family friendly. The gym is small but has all the necessities. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars is that the units are a little bit old, however the unit is renovated and is great for the price. I would recommend!

I lived here for a year and a half and it was great, the maintenance was very quick and the leasing office was very helpful. The units are clean, the snow gets cleared away very fast when there is some, and it is in a very safe neighborhood. The security of the complex itself is lacking because of the area, no cameras or anything. There are a few bugs in the summer, had a bit of a house centipede issue in mine but nothing serious, I swear I found one everyday in the summer. Overall good experience and I'm sad to leave for a work assignment.

Disappointing, but may work for you if you are a sound sleeper. They have flexible leasing options and laundry in the units (small machines poorly rigged), and a useful gym, but the units are old with poor sound proofing and very creaky floors. The bathroom ceilings leaked in both units (I got them to move me from the first unit as the leak was bad), and I had mice coming in during the last few weeks there. My electric bill was huge, $170/month despite keeping the temp at 64 (the thermostats didn't seem to work - had to keep them at 55 to have it be 64 in winter). There aren't many options in the area in this price range, so may still be an option. They do a good job with snow removal and were quick to respond to maintenance requests. I do not know what it is like in the summer.

Valley Park Apartments are well maintained, with a friendly and professional staff. The amenities make the living experience a more pleasant and comfortable place to live.
