Liked it better when it was Valley. The selections aren't as good and fresh. Much more expensive. And WATCH THE EXPIRATION DATES ON THE FOOD!! I have bought several things that were waaay overly expired!

It’s all good until there’s a problem then that’s when you find out how important you really are as a customer. I’ve been a customer for many years and they made a mistake and charged me double which people make mistakes. But then I have my receipts and show bank account they say I have to come back later or give me your number. Come back later oh manager is still not here try later. I’m like no I don’t want to come later. Than I start getting attitude because I question the situation. Never had this happen in other stores. Getting the same run around the manager is not here she is in a meeting. Since this morning?

The sea food manager is the rudest . Michael I am transgender and identify as male and when he called me ma'am I asked nicely once for him not to call me that. That I dont identify as female. He laughed and said I look like a woman therefore I am and he will call me what he wants. I decided not to keep pushing it cause I just needed some crab cakes so I could be on my way. He then did not put on gloves and proceeded to grab them with his bare hands. This is so unsanitary. I dont know if he washed his hands and I told him I didnt want them anymore. He then starts to cuss and tell me that im whats wrong with the world today. Absolutely rude and didnt care and proceeded to talk to me however he wanted. Acted like he was running the place. And i was nothing more than a problem in the store. Marianne from customer service was very rude as well. Spoke down to me as if I was beneath her. I only wanted a new loaf of bread or my money back for the moldy bread I had purchased. I made it out to my car when I noticed the bread. Im glad I drive a little out my way to come to this store. Came right back in with the bread and my recient I paid with cash. Her attitude towards me was unacceptable. Seemed to me like she just didnt want to do her job. She was on her phone when I walked up. Huffed and puffed when she hung up and the attitude began. I asked to speak to someone above her position. Store manager, general manager , something. She said she was on top and I had to deal with her that no one was above her or would help me in anyway and told me to leave her store. I will no longer be buying groceries from this store. Rude employees. Ive had cashiers ring my items up more than once on several occasions. But they was polite and fixed it right away. There's SOME good people work there. But I wont be disrespected when buying food from this store again. Something as small as returning a bad loaf of bread or getting another loaf that hasnt gone bad. Using gloves to touch food people will be eating. Respecting the fact that im transgender. Ive never been treated this way in any other store before and I thought I was gonna have a mental break down when leaving this store. Crying in my car several minutes before being able to pull out the parking lot. I dont feel anyone should be treated the way they treated me. I dont normally do reviews but the behavior of the people working here was unacceptable.

Customer service Marianne was not professional at all by any means. Was on her phone when I walked up seemed bothered by me needing assistance. Cashier rang up multiple items more than once and neither of us caught it til it was paid for. No big deal I hadn't left the store yet. The cashier was polite and apologized for the inconvenience. Wish I would have caught their name as well. They were so nice so polite. They asked me to take my groceries to customer service and they would fix everything. Absolutely not a problem on my part. Immediately her attitude was horrible. Seemed bothered by me and having to do anything. It was multiple things rung up more than once which seemed to only aggravate her more. She accused me of not having all my bags and trying to pull one over on her. I told her i went from the line where I paid straight to her. That i didnt want to hold up everyone behind me and I had paid before we realized things were rung up more than once. She rolled her eyes and continued to look at all my items and the receipt. She said I was wasting her time. I was in shock and said that if she needed to she could get someone else and id be more than happy to talk to someone else. Her response was that she didnt have to get someone else for me to talk to. I simply said I just want my money back for the items i paid twice for. She eventually got everything situated. Which felt like it took forever maybe cause of her attitude. I dont know if she was just having a bad day. But her attitude was ridiculous. Her accusing me of trying to pull one over on her. What a joke. How does she work customer service? I would seriously reconsider her being customer service if shes gonna talk and treat people the way she talked and treated me. When she refunded me the money owed back to me I still politely said thank you and she just rolled her eyes again. I was so glad that ordeal was over and I didnt have to deal with her anymore.

Greatest meat selection amd market. A great spot for certain items basically like a cousin to shoprite stores. Prices are reasonable depending on the sale but definitely the quality is great.

Pros: great, great selection of fresh vegetables. Cons: parts of the store had really poor lighting and needed upgrades. Also, a pumpkin we picked up outside went soft shortly afterwards and had to be tossed.

Love all the fresh produce. The meat counter is great. It's always busy back there. Prices are a bit higher on some things. But I really can't complain.

This is a very nice grocery store with an excellent variety of fruits and vegetablei type produce , a good meat counter, a good seafood counter olve very good deli counter. It's clean and nicely organized with plenty of signage to help you find what you want. My one major complaint is their prices. Not every single grocery item is more expensive then say a giant or weis but probably 75% of their everyday grocery store items are more expensive then average. There are bargains if you look hard, they claim they are lowering prices as their supply chain issues (COVID related) gradually are resolved. And the general quality of the food is higher then average, for instance, the produce is fresh, good with great variety, and the staff is very very good, well trained, polite, helpful and the store itself is nicer then average, but as yet, the prices are sometimes higher then would be hoped. They are worth a trip if you haven't been there, and there are bargains to be found but most of the prices are still higher then average.

It's not the same. A lot of what I specifically went there for is gone. The meat department is definitely not as good as it used to be despite what is said. The grades of ground beef is disappointing. I will not buy meat there anymore. I am finding family owned farms to purchase my meats now. They constantly move things around, the produce section is so disorganized.Selection is not as good as it once was.Things change, but not always for the better.

I shopped at your store today. At the register I was charged $8.97 for 3 Escaroles I did not purchase. I did not realize it until I was already in my car with the bags already loaded in the back. My wife scanned through the receipt and asked, “What’s Escarole?” I looked at the receipt and told her they charged us for something we didn’t buy. I scanned the rest of the receipt and also noticed the cashier didn’t charge me for 1 head of endive. At that point, I really needed to leave and get back to what I was working on. My wife asked me to go ask customer service about the overcharge….so I did. The girl that handled it wanted me to go back to my car, get the endive, so she could weigh it so she could charge me for that. 1) I did not have time for that…you were fortunate that I was honest and told the store you missed that one. 2) Your store charged me for something I did not buy….You can’t do that. You must reimburse me for that charge. 3) I have managed employees and trained customer service for a long time. Her mishandling of this was about some preconceived lack of flexibility without any awareness of responsibility for her actions. There are too many options for me to shop for food. You shouldn’t be blowing off local customers so carelessly.Stu Schnurman
