I love the Talbots petite range, especially when the whole store is 40% off! Good selection, great quality. Sizes can be hit or miss, I take two sizes into the fitting room and buy what fits. Who cares about the number? Staff are helpful and always offer to order in your size if what you want isn't available. Recommended.

Second time at this store and I had to make a return since they didn't have the same item in a smaller size so the staff, Denise was doing my returns and then the "store manager", Tia started touching my receipts and items, so I spoke up and asked her what the matter was. She said she needs the original receipt. I said this is the original receipt (I am going to email corporate a copy of all this) because she started to get loud and said because she is the store manager, she can. I said excuse me? I said Denise was doing my refund and you decided to interrupt us and now you're giving me a hard time? Tia continues to say, she is the store manager and it's her job. Is it really your job to be rude and obnoxious? My items had tags and receipts but because I spoke up for myself, Tia had an issue with that. Don't "abuse" your so called store manager privilege. Tia then decided to cancel my refund and ask me to leave her store.Talbots, how do you hire a store manager like Tia to represent your company?! It's horrible and degrading to treat someone like this and keep in mind, there were other customers in the store too. How can Tia act so unprofessional?! And please check your store cameras to validate my claims. From the minute she walked in, she decided to give me a hard time when a customer is allow to make returns if the items are too big. I definitely want corporate to review this and she should step down from her so called Store Manager role. Being kind is very simple. If Tia can't be kind, then she should not be working with customers at all. The only reason I am speaking up is because I do not want this to happen to any one else especially elderly who can't stand up for themselves. And Denise said, she couldn't process the return either because she has to listen to her store manager, Tia. Horrible work ethics and shame on them for treating people like this.

I have been shopping at this Talbots and other locations for 20+ years and purchase the majority of my wardrobe here. I know many of the staff members including the manager Stephanie by name and they know me. I purchased a dress at the King of Prussia mall and did not have the opportunity to wear it until recently. When I went to wear it I noticed the fabric was all discolored in certain spots so I took it back to get a replacement. I was told by a new employee that there was nothing they could do since I purchased this outside the window to return and she checked with the manager who would not help. I was not asking for my money back just an exchange for the same dress that was not defective. I was told that I would have to drive to King of Prussia and maybe they could help me? I was so disappointed in the customer service I received and will be shopping elsewhere.

My experience at this store was exceptional. I worked with Stephanie and she was knowledgeable and professional. She went out of her way to help and answer all my questions. I intend to go back and have Stephanie help me often.

Very disappointed with the attitude of Stephanie at this store. She doesn't seem to understand that new customers are the life blood of any business and if anything, new customers should receive equal or better attention. The difference was very obvious. Attitude adjustment needed.
