Although I love staples def for Amazon returns. I got staples brand white out and it was awful. I got white out Bic brand and there was 2 different kinds. I grabbed both and went to the check out counter and asked what was the difference between both. the guy working the desk, Christmas eve, said "I don't know the difference," and walked away. He was not a "people person" to say the least. He was not friendly he was actually rude, did not offer help, for all he knew maybe I didn't know how to read. Don't work with customers, if you don't like people.

This is for the Lehigh St. location in Allentown PA. Your website said you ship Fedex. In the store there were signs. I asked to ship it and both clerks said, "We don't do FedEx." They told me to go to CVS. Yeah. The pharmacy. The pharmacy doesn't even ship packages. Why would they do that? These clerks were both new and had no idea what they were talking about. I asked for a manager and one of them was the manager. They wouldn't budge so I had to drive 45 minutes through rush hour traffic (I'm off all week and would've been at work for three hours at this point; I shouldn't have to deal with this) just to find the closest FedEx store. Went in, dropped off my package and left with a receipt. So much time and more importantly, gas, wasted. Screwed up my whole morning. Screw Staples. Your employees are incompetent buffoons.

Always professional, friendly and staff work efficiently. It can be busy but you always feel they are making an effort to keep the line moving.

I attempted to go to this location to use the happy return service. Big mistake. The clerk messed up the return only entering one of my items and then processed it. She had no way to fix it and told me I need to contact Gymshark to restart the return, unbelievable. Don’t offer a service you can’t do correctly.

Ran in Saturday, they close at 6pm. We were there at 5:50pm to pick up a few last minute school supplies. Two employees were at the front door closing the gate. One, which I assumed to be the manager, was telling everyone who came in, "we are closing in 5 minutes" clearly aggitated that we were coming in. As we were quickly grabbing pencils, folders, etc., the second employee came up behind us to reinforce "we are closing in a few minutes". There was one girl at the register and a line of customers. It should be clearly posted they close early on a Saturday, I looked for the hours when I saw the gates being pulled and there weren't any posted. We heared you the first time saying you were closing. It doesnt take long to grab stuff at Staples. If you don't want to manage retail hours..find a job where you don't have to interact with customers. Maybe consider have your henchmen open a second register instead of stalking customers telling them to get out.Customer service is lacking these days, and you wonder why it's hard to find good employees? You can do a little better here.Would you rather everyone shop online instead of taking the time to come and support your retail establishment? The girl at the register was pleasant and the store seemed cleaned. Just wish the manager wasn't grooming the employees to usher people out.

Does not accept Amazon QR code returns despite being advertised as full UPS services. All that after waiting 20 minutes for them to clear a line of 3 people

I'm a local artist and I've scanned 5 or 6 11x14 watercolor paintings here. The first time, an employee helped me use the self service scanner. I asked what dpi the machines scanned at because it just said low, med hi quality, etc., and she had no clue. Oh well, I picked the highest one and the process was pretty easy after that. When I went home and opened the file, the resolution was way too low. I needed 600 DPI to create prints and I think it was around 75. So I brought the painting back to staples, and there was a different employee manning the copy center. This employee was really helpful, scanned my art on the big scanner behind the counter, let me come around and look at the file to make sure it was okay, and that was that. Great..unfortunately most of the time when I come here, that first employee is working. She uses the big scanner for me now but doesn't seem to know anything about the settings and the images are always super overexposed, which is hard to fix in photoshop. I've called around a few print shops and still haven't found a local place that does scanning at high resolutions.. if anyone knows of a place near Bethlehem, let me know! It adds hours to my processing time ☹️

Worst customer service. They have a sign that says they guarantee they have your ink cartridge for your printer or $10 off and free shipping if they order for you. I had to order mine since they were out but would not honor the discount even though there’s a sign!!!!
