Absolutely horrid company. I ordered a 12k door and they dropped it off in the street. It was a 1,000lb door which required 9 men to maneuver down a 900 ft driveway. When I called to see if they could somehow accommodate me by possibly driving down the driveway at least a little bit (to not block the road), the supervisor was extremely nasty about it and refused. I contacted the company I ordered the door from as I paid 2,500$ to have it shipped and let them know the shipping is atrocious.
If this company ships your items, just know you or your costumers will be taking it off the truck and moving it yourself. You would actually be better off renting a box truck and doing it yourself - that way you at least don’t need to block roads and can drive into your driveway.

Good choice if you want something delivered or you can pick it up. Took 10 minutes to talk to someone and get my order and they loaded up for me. Recommend Saia to anyone. ???also truck driver Mike was easy to talk to and gave me the number to dispatch very professional place. Will do business with them again.

Their LTL department provided us with a quote, and retroactively tried to increase the invoice by 511% after the shipment. Their exact words: "unable to honor the quote".If you have an issue with your own pricing, you need to figure that out and share it with the customer before services are rendered. Not 2 months after the fact.

Very poor service and communication. The dispatch Manger even hung the phone up on me when I was stating my displeasure

I have used on and off for the past year. I continually give them chances to deliver. I have problems and issues every time I ask them to be my freight company. From delivery windows that aren’t respected, driving past my location because the driver is unwilling to drop off in the rear of my shop (alley way and a parking lot that easily accessible), to awful communication even after we call to make sure the driver is aware of all directions. We’ve talked to the SVP of operations and was promised they will do better and they would do everything to earn our business. Well they failed. I write this as I was told they aren’t showing up to my business today even though online tracking says they are. Just awful and disrespectful. I finally learned my lesson to not use them again.

I am a Warehouse manager and I ship and receive LTL shipments daily. The SAIA driver assigned to our area is George Rigas, he is always on time for his pickups and deliveries to my location. George always has a positive attitude and is willing to help us with anything that we need.

SAIA requires a half day window to make delivery and I took a half day off from work to wait at home for it. The SAIA truck did not show up. I called SAIA customer service and they said their truck broke down and that I would need to take another half day off to get delivery. I had it shipped to my employer instead. The carpet arrived with the plastic cover ripped, the backing stained and the edging damaged.
