The first time I was recommended to go to the Aardvark store I was a bit confused as to what made this place special over any other shoe store. After buying my first pair, I was believer in the brand. I have been back to buy several more times. It is the professionalism, quality of service and courtesy of the staff that keeps me coming back over and over again, repeatedly trusting in their recommendations.
My first fitting with Andy was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I thought, there’s no way this is the standard of service. A little over a year after my first fitting, I went in for a refresh and had a fitting with John. To my relief and surprise, John delivered that same Aardvark experience that I fell in love with the first time.
Aside from experience, a truly unique offering from Aardvark is how knowledgeable the staff is. The ability for them to complete the fitting and make curated recommendations based on your unique foot’s need is amazing.
During our most recent experience, my wife and I had a great conversation with John about having our first child on the way and joked about needing my modern dad shoe (cue the signature white new balance). Not only did they remember that conversation but they sent us a nice post card congratulating us on the new baby.

Walked in to check out some stuff from vuori and overheard one of the workers talking very rudely to a customer and we both walked out. Not sure why it’s so hard for people to be welcoming and helpful these days to someone who is being friendly and respectful and ready to spend money lol. I won’t be returning

I came to the store yesterday to get a shoe assessment since I’ve been having some struggles there. And I have to say - my experience there was FANTASTIC. Kate helped me walk through their assessment process and found (what I feel to be) the perfect shoe for me and allowed me to feel how I’ve been walking wrong as a result of the wrong type of shoe. I highly recommend their service!

Can I have this in a size 11? Here you go come again.. Not this place. The associates actually spend time with you by a check in process. They map your your feet and make sure to get you the correct, comfortable fit. Stopped in on a whim to get the wife some sneakers and was amazed by the service. Ended up getting my 2 girls sneakers as well. Will definitely come back..

The absolute best place for active sneakers. They scientifically map out your foot and identify which parts you put pressure on when walking and match you to pairs of shoes that would be comfortable. I tried on 19 shoes in 5 stores before I came here. The first shoe I tried on was absolutely perfect. He then showed and explained how insoles can not only help but be designed for your foot and walking pattern. Bought them and have no pain walking again! So comfy and I will now only buy sneakers from here. Trust me, go here and and experience it yourself. You owe it to your feet to find the perfect shoe for you!

Please stop ordering from Zappos or Amazon. The value that Aardvark offers is priceless. Whether you are a runner or just need walking sneakers. So completely worth the trip!

- The staff was great and very helpful
- The amount of attention given to get you the best fit is unmatched in my experience.
- it's definitely an investment ( at least for us)

I am an 87 year old lady who didn't walk for 6 1/2 years, but decided I wanted to walk into the new Cedarbrook building so I was sent to Therapy. My first time in the parallel bars I couldn't even stand up. That was 2 years ago, but this week I walked the length of the gym (65') at one clip. Didn't wear shoes because I have lymphedema & wore lymphedema boots. i was sent to Good Shepherd for help & worked with Denise, a Therapist Angel, & I now wear sneakers & stockings. Denise suggested I should go to Aardvark for sneakers where I met the greatest guy, Andy, who had the patience of a Saint. I was there quite awhile & I noticed every other person working there was very caring also. I would highly recommend everyone who was involved in my care & would not hesitate to give all of them a five star rating. Thank you to everyone!

First time in the shop to get track sneakers for my high school athlete and Amy H was the best! She made the experience a fun and personal one. Walked away with more than I was planning but actually spent less than I was expecting. We’ll definitely be back!
