On July 31, 2025, Shubert’s Best, located at 5836 Four Point Road, Bethel, was inspected and found with the following violation: The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Observed no chemical sanitizer being used on equipment and utensils after washing and rinsing them, and prior to use. Food facility is using an approved non-public water system, but does not have current laboratory testing results for water potability. Food facility hot water heater is not producing enough hot water to supply sinks for proper hand washing and warewashing at the time of inspection. Hand wash sinks (retail area and restroom) do not have water at a temperature of at least 85°F. *Note: PIC stated hot water had been turned off. PIC turned on hot water during inspection, and a water temperature above 85°F was measured at the retail area sink. The hot water tank is leaking heavily when turned on, so it cannot remain on. Facility does not have continual access to a hot water supply at the time of inspection. Ceiling above 3-bay warewashing sink is not in good repair. Ceiling surface is exposed with insulation falling through the opening. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of rodents/insect activity. -Rodent droppings observed on cardboard lining shelving with bags of chips in the retail area. -Dead cockroaches observed in the 3-bay warewashing area. Floor surfaces in the storage room/warewashing area of the food facility is extremely dirty, dusty, and in need of cleaning.

Sadly, this establishment needs to be avoided if possible. Half of the time their pumps don't work. Or won't print a receipt. For sure don't buy items inside. Outdated and over priced!

charges 16 dollars per quart for oil. same oil is 9 down just a few miles away. also it isnt priced on the shelf. these imports just made up the price. dont shop here. support American owned businesses.

Stay AWAY!!!! They changed me $200 twice for fuel. I only got $200!! This place is not ok. They will take your information and sale it. I am in the process of filing a complaint.

Such a shame when an establishment sells bad gas, says they will make good on it and then leaves you high and dry for 10's of thousands of dollars in repairs.. Not today Satnam Singh. To anyone reading this, if you purchased gas at the US Gas establishment on 419 in Bethel PA between July 27 and July 31, 2023 and you are having vehicle problems please call your insurance company immediately and file a claim with the PA Attorney General. Keep samples of the fuel that came out of your tank as well...You can ignore text messages and calls all you want Satnam, but you're not going to get off the hook on this one.

Everything is either expired or about to expire. They don’t have prices ANYWHERE because they make up what price feels best for them. $3.50 for a half gallon of milk that goes bad in a day! $3.50 for a pack of Reese’s. They should be shut down. Cashier was on the phone the whole time as well. Like do your job.
