I was in the Berwyn location Sunday afternoon. I was looking for a metal slow pitch softball bat for my adult league. I found a bat on Amazon for $40 bucks and wanted to see if I can pick it up at a local store instead of through another mega-corporation. Play It Again had the same bat retailed for $54. I asked a young sales associated if they would match. He said he can't match amazon but would give me a modest 10% discount. I accepted due to wanting to support a local business. I took the bat to the register when another associate said that due to Amazon eating the shipping fees they not only cannot match Amazon but would not honor a 10% discount. This was after saying they bought the bat for $31 and that if I bought it from Easton directly I would pay the something closer to their retail price with shipping. I put the bat back then bought the bat directly from Easton's Amazon store. If that was my franchise, knowing what it takes to compete with online retailers, I would have wanted to move the inventory. I wont be back.

I came with my son to pick up some gear for lacrosse. Even though there was only 5 minutes to closing, I was greeted with a smile by the helpful employees. They helped us find all the things we came for for a quarter of the price that we would get it for new. Will definitely come back in the future.

I just felt a racist vibe when I enter this establishment. My son and I was not greeted when we enter nor asked if we needed any help . Granted each caucasian customer that walked in after us was greeted with a “hello” and asked “ do you need help with anything “. While the cashier was getting our items together , the three young men were giggling and whispering. If I did not drive 35 minutes to this store I definitely wouldn’t have spend my money there .

Normal place. It has a lot of good equipment and the cashiers are there. Products are sold as is. 3 cashiers were at the time we went, so the checkout is fast. We were buying skies, and the store does not know how to adjust or give advice. You have to do your own research.

went to sharpen my ice skates, which I bought there 6m back. But they were reluctant to help me. Looks like they only want to do it once, when selling.Bad service - won't go there anymore.

Wonderful people, really bad skate sharpening. Took an edge off my blade, but they were so cool about it when I came back to the shop.

Great (only?) place for used sports equipment in the area. My son is trying baseball for the first time and I was able to get a bunch of equipment for a fraction of the cost for new. We'll be back for more!

This place in Berwyn rips you off. Low balled our hockey items. I took the deal (stupid I know) because I came all that way. Before the transaction was even agreed upon, our skates were behind the counter already being processed. I initially said yes, given $20 then said no with in two minutes (literally). Was told it was too late, that they would have to sell it back to me at the new price. Shame on me. Don't make the same mistake....seller be aware.Thank you for reaching out Nate. But Ihave no desire to contact your store again. It was in poor form that the workers behind the counter conveniently couldn't find the skates that were in view of where I was standing. I was told it wasn't those when I pulled out pictures and those were the only skates not in my bin when I left.Thankfully I came to my senses when I was offered $20 for a full set of golf clubs in a golf bag. That's insulting!$20 for the skates doesn't have me upset, it is the poor business practice. I had them on marketplace for $40. I was screamed at by a female behind the counter "ALL SALES ARE FINAL!"So, we left. Angry. And vowed to never visit your store again.

A good place to buy sports equipment if you are on a budget. I definitely recommend for anyone that needs to purchase Lacrosse gear for their children. Prices are very affordable.

You will be surprised at the prices. They do not have cheap thrift store prices however, their prices are lower then Dick’s.

There was a great selection of equipment. The store was laid out very well and we were able to find what we were looking for very quickly. Everything was in good condition and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning.
