Purple Heart sent me a confirmation for a pickup but never bothered to show up or notify me that they couldn't make it. I waited all day and finally called them at 5:30 PM. At that point I was told they weren't coming and the next available pickup is another week away. I'm now left with a truck load of stuff blocking my driveway. What an awful experience.

He a great for picking up your clothes but stores where they bring all this stuff resale it make a pretty penny out of it and what they did to Veterans is 10% of all the money they make think about it

I absolutely love the convenience of having my donations picked up rather than having to load up my car, drive to the donation center, unload and drive home. Especially since I have kids, I can't fit much in my car with both kids in the car so it always takes multiple trips and it's a pain. I had such a pile of boxes because I just didn't feel like making 4-5 trips. I found Purple Heart and haven't looked back. As far as the other reviews, even though they're several years old, I feel the need to respond. Why would you sit and wait? Put the stuff outside and go about your day, that's the whole point. If they have an issue, they'll get in touch. The furniture pickup review? It says right on the scheduling page that they don't accept furniture! Try reading the information about the organization and the acceptable donations before you schedule.
