I was a random walk-in customer. 2nd time here in 5 years. I bought a battery and had to install it in the parking lot. As I was installing the new battery the gentleman recommended. I had an issue with something. I went inside and asks if they could grind something down for me in the back. The guy said of course. He went back and ran the grinder. Handed me the part back. I asked to buy him lunch and he declined with a smile and said he was glad he could help. This is the number 1 reason I come to Napa anywhere in the United States. They are ALL ran by local car dudes that just want to help and provide great customer service. I highly doubt this would happen at pep boys or Walmart auto center. So thanks fellas.

The manager of this place is absolutely unprofessional. I dropped an engine off and I was respectfully was put into a que. I asked for a bill for a break down and never received any paperwork on my engine. I called to follow up after my engine was dropped off, I was told several different prices. Then I ended up moving out of state for work to then be called two months when my engine was finally finished . The manager called me cursing out and harassing me to pick it up. As a pillar in the car community I won’t be recommending business.

Friendly staff and a HUGE inventory! The only recommendation I have is that when looking for the place (and a place to park), you pull in the narrow driveway next to the small house, NOT the auto shop or restaurant driveways.

I'm going to get my parts back. They had my engine for machine work for 5 months and I'm 2/3 paid off and very minimal work has been done. I will not refer anyone to this place.

Would avoid this NAPA location if at all possible (Matt at the speed shop is knowledgeable though). Bought 4 exhaust flange bolts/nuts for a catback swap on my truck and the online price was good (around $15) and they would be available next day for pick up. When I finally got around to doing the work, the existing flange on my old exhaust was rotted to the point where I knew I had to take it somewhere to get installed which I ended up doing. When I went to return these parts to the store they refused to accept the return. I didn't argue, the worker seemed irate over something that did not involve me. I went home and called NAPA customer service, they told me he has to accept the return since I was within the 30 day period. I asked them to handle it and was put on hold for a few minutes. The customer service agent came back and said they spoke directly to the store and they were willing to refund my purchase. I drove back to this location and the same worker did nothing but complain as he was punching away on his keyboard. Then he says he has to charge me for gas money since he had to go pick up the order. He ended up offering $3 for a refund for the $15 bolts. I took the bolts back and figured I'd deal with NAPA directly. The worker continued to say a number of asinine remarks at me. He told me I should have to pay for gas, I was an uneducated shopper, I need to realize he had to drive for bolts, if I'm not capable of doing jobs I shouldn't do them, I shouldn't have placed an order to begin with if I ended up returning them. Immediately after the last statement about returning items, I politely asked him, "So you have never returned anything in your life?" To which he replied, "No." LOL, then I called him out on it and he mentioned how he has returned things but of course only things that were not his fault and this was clearly my fault. He also said I was beyond the return window, I said it says 30 days on my online order email, he said well its only 14 at this location (again lol), sad part is I believe it was only day 10 or 11 after I picked up the order, so I still was within his artificial return policy.Fortunately, NAPA customer service provided me with a refund and additional funds (which I did not need or ask for but I do feel it was a nice gesture given that they themselves said this store is very unreasonable). Since the encounter I have had at this location, I've taken my business to NAPA on Cottman Ave. The Cottman location is a further ride, but well worth it. It is a much cleaner store and the manager Chris has helped me out and they will continue to get my business. NAPA "regional" also reached out to me to ensure I was satisfied with the resolution to which I genuinely am. They also told me that I am not the first customer to have such issues with the Bensalem location. I figured I would see more reviews like this but only a few others. Anyway, avoid this location, go to Cottman if using NAPA.
